Very weird statement. Waguthii certainly is more familiar to global boxing audiences, being a several time world title challenger and having fought Delfine Person and Svetlana Kulakova twice apiece, plus Ramona Kuehne...she is known to be a very tough journeywoman, and not an easy night's work for anybody. To have only heard of Piątkowska but not Waguthii basically means you have to be Polish.

 

Okay but that goes doubly for the home fighter then. Judy's fought on far more internationally broadcast fight cards than Ewa.

Look buddy, I was just tickled by the incongruity of the idea that somebody would know international women's boxing (assuming G Man isn't a Pole himself) enough to know a relatively ho-hum in the grand scheme technically world titlist but never world elite, but to describe their opponent, a multiple time challenger appearing on many high profile televised cards, as "somebody you'd never heard of". It'd be like somebody piping in "hey is Yuri Foreman on this card" and someone answering 'yeah against somebody you've never heard of', referring to Gabe Rosado. Like yeah technically Foreman was a champ and Rosado never was, but..
