See I can live with this as it’s also my opinion too.
I had him over Lara 115/113 which at best could be debated as a draw but Lara “RAN” too much IMO.

Canelo is not my favorite boxer but I respect his game. Dude went to 175 and grabbed a belt. Like WTF:eek:
He had no business at 175 and Krusher , shop worn or not, was putting some heavy hurt on Big Red.

So if anyone thinks other than Floyd, GGG and a debatable draw for Lara is just hating on the kid.:angryyell:

It’s called a cycle and they don’t know—Save your self a headache as I’ve tried to explain it since it happened.

Agree. The close early rounds, canelo punches felt impactful, he punched skilfully with more authority which can be seen as the highlights of the round

I thought Lara was going to wreck canelo. I was impressed early with canelo, his body shots were great. But from what I remember, he lost a lot of middle rounds. He hurt Lara that one round, then Lara recovered and won the rest. It’s been a while but I think he lost to Lara.

ggg1 and ggg2 were close. It could’ve gone either way. Ggg1 was a while ago but I can see ggg winning that one even though I was impressed with canelo power counter punching. Ggg2, just watched some days ago, also very close for me. Either could win, it wasn’t totally clear to me. I could see 6 rounds to each. Canelo, in both, had his stamina failing him.

No bro. Lara did well in the first four rounds, and ran the remaining 8 after Canelo's assault to the body.

Body punches bro. Those count, and count for a lot when they land clean and send the opponent into retreat.

I thought Lara won....also...GGG1 I was impressed by Canelo's chin...other than that...GGG won. The 2nd fight GGG tried to go the boxing route because the judges are stupid and that's what they like...thought he won by maybe a round less than the first fight....which was wide.

I mentioned body punches in my post. I didn't ignore them.

I agree about the first fight; but i dont think GGG wanted to "box" in the second. Canelo made him back off and for me GGG was feeling unconfortable in the ring and was grasping for air between the rounds. I mean he is slower and aint a great counter puncher like JMM to win the fight like that. Also i was dissapointed that he threw like literally 2 body shots in the whole fight, but hey, he was probably afraid getting countered by faster fighter.
