He was certainly wobbled tho i don't think he was saved as such Mark. He got caught badly moving into a great punch he simply didn't see. Marcos could hit a bit too!

 

Of course not Bayless had Floyd covered he would have DQd Maidana for headbutting.

In all seriousness, that was a clean punch and Mayweather would have 100% tried to clinch if the bell didn't ring. He did look buzzed, hard to tell if the extent he was hurt but he did put his hands on the ropes possibly to rebalance himself. Who knows what could have happened? Shame there weren't another minute in the round to find out!

He was hurt but he still knew instantly where his corner was and went straight to it. Thousands have come back from worse and Floyd very likely would have. His defense was brilliant. He wasn't even dropped.
