    That's one of the better and more competitive one sided fights I've seen. Burgos hung incredibly tough throughout the entire fight and I think he could have been awarded one or two more than the judges did, but Xavier clearly landed cleaner and harder in most of the rounds so I don't really have an issue with the scorecards.

    Couple things:

    • Showtime, wtf is with these MMA highlights? Know your audience. We don't care. A few among us do, maybe, but you're just pissing off the MAJORITY of us that don't.
    • Fans in Carson, wtf are you booing the decision for? You thought Burgos won? I guarantee I've been a Burgos fan longer than any of you drunk ass casuals, hell since a lot of you were toddlers I'd bet, and no, he won maybe 2 rounds, chill.

    it was a great fight. i still think martinez ceiling is beating these faded former contenders , he has a future as a great gatekeeper but too hittable, flatfooted and only one gear.

    Yeah, that's totally acceptable. But that's about it. In no way shape or form did Burgos do enough to elicit boos though. The crowd is just acting like morons.:lol:

    Im older than you and the man did win 2 clearly and maybe 3
    We don’t see fights like this anymore because every DIVA in the sport cherry picks and stacks the deck.

    This was an exciting fight and yes Martinez clearly WON but again we never get great fights as everyone has to protect that sacred “O” so when you have an exciting fight people get lost.
    Again clear WIN but old school fight

    Of the rounds I caught, only the 6th had a really compelling argument for swinging Burgos' way. Bernstein also gave him R3 but I hadn't tuned in yet for that so can't pass comment. But yeah, it seems like the appropriate range is giving Burgos anywhere from zero to maybe three rounds, the latter if you're reaching like crazy.
