Never liked nery. He had this arrogant smirk as Figueroa was putting pressure.
Figueroa was breaking him the. From snout the 5th .

 

Nery. Saunders is mostly getting **** because he ran his mouth about other fighters who had similar injuries...which he deserves, but it's also (partially) tongue-in-cheek. Nery was just a bike-riding *****.

 

He needs to put that on a shirt, pronto.

Yeah I agree, I think you're spot on, from what I've heard this week it's BJS previous comments and mouth pre fight that's the problem.

Nery just wanted out, I said earlier on a post during the fight "anybody having Nery quit on his stool"

Because his body language screamed he wanted out.

Fulton vs Figueroa being set for September is really interesting. That kind of fights should normally take 3 years to make? What's going on here? Make it Crawford-Spence's co-main then?

 

One of our cats just walked across the room, jumped on the arm of the sofa and slapped my face.

Three things..

Firstly no claws.. which was a huge bonus.

Secondly and most troubling thing is I didn't even move.. no reflexes whatsoever.. I just got a slap.

Thirdly, the cat just strolled off like a boss, didn't even twitch, a slap and stroll.

Congrats to Figueroa for stopping this weight bully cheater. Only wish Inoue was there to do the job, especially after what Nery did to Yamanaka.
Looks like Nery can give it but can’t take it. Good riddance.
