I didn't notice that. Most of the talk has been about AJ.

If he ends up fighting Wilder instead, I can't really fault him for that either, since it's a legal/financial matter. However much he can earn against AJ, if he has to give Wilder millions to step aside that would be a sickener. Wilder deserves nothing but a beating really.

Yes, all this is true. We are still at this same point.

I am hopeful the August 14th Fury-AJ fight will happen though.

Usyk must be bored of waiting for his shot at a Heavyweight Title as I can't see it happening for at least another 12 months.

Called it ages ago when people were talking about warm up fights and blah blah blah typical promoter chat. He should have forced it straight away and now he wont get a shot till atleast 2022 maybe even 2023.

Still think Eddie and AJ are intentionally stringing this out as long as possible in the hopes Fury will be rusty, if the fight happens in August TF will have been inactive for over 18 months. Similar to how Wilder wanted to fight Fury so soon after his comeback, well that backfired massively and the same will happen to AJ/Eddie.

So the big fanny Tyson Fury's signature was the signature that was holding everything up

Yeah, definitely nothing to do with AJ’s trainer being at the Olympics.

If Eddie and AJ really wanted the fight as soon as possible it would be done by now, could have been signed months ago for May or June

Seems to me the only team really working to make this fight was Joshua’s. Plus there’s the little matter of a global pandemic that may have pushed back the biggest fight in boxing history..

Perhaps but the truth is none of us really know what's going on behind the scenes in negotiations, what is being said on social media and in interviews needs to be taken with a pinch of salt

It’s not just Tyson, nobody has signed anything at this point. You can also take what Fury says with a pinch of salt- lets hope the judge doesn’t rule in Wilder’s favour.

Eddie gets loads of **** but he’s literally the one person who’s made this happen. Probably with the help of DK too. Bob and Frank have just sat there condemning, denying or undermining everything.

I know this is all about the main event but you’d hope for it to be a proper solid card with that money left over for the undercard.
