If we wanted it in the UK we'd be probably be waiting until Christmas earliest or maybe next year. At least if it's in Saudi itll be at a decent time for UK fans. The 2nd fight will be in the UK. It's not Eddie's fault the saudis are the only ones able to afford the whole thing during covid.
No not really, this fight was always going to happen, it was only a matter of when really, not if. It was a "win win" for Edward. Hearn said he was the only one doing anything and nobody was helping him, so if it didn't happen he could point fingers at everybody else and blame them for not helping and if it did then he can claim full credit. The fact he has taken the biggest British fight in history to Saudi Arabia is a problem for me, firstly a human rights record problem and also for a man that says it's all about the UK boxing fans.. Hearn has sold out British boxing fans AGAIN, he has been doing it for years now, from things like the awful Haye Bellew cash grab fights, KSI Vs Logan Paul on PPV to sticking Chisora on a PPV as a headliner.
