Why are some people actually celebrating the HW undisputed fight potentially being off?

    Did I miss something?

Has it got to the point where people are more interested in the the successful or unsuccessful prediction of the outcome of an arbitration process than seeing the 2 best in the division fight?

It's like the equivalent of someone celebrating chopping their own balls off because they told everyone it was going to happen.

    It's moronic surely?

BECAUSE EDDIE HEARN THOUGHT FURY WAS FINISHED. THE ONLY REASON HE WANTED THE FURY FIGHT IS BECAUSE HES BEEN 18 MONTHS OUT OF THE RING. HE DOESNT WANT A EVEN PLAYING FIELD

WHY DO YOU THINK JOSHUA CALLED OUT A 400+ LBS FURY IN 2017? BUT NOT PRIME FURY IN DECEMBER 2020? BECAUSE THEY DONT WANT A ACTIVE FURY

I'm not celebrating, I'm laughing at the Hearn, Matchroom and AJ nuthuggers who believe everything they say without question.

Yeah that’s normally pretty funny but as a boxing fan it’s actually you that misses out here too. Well unless you really want to see Fury vs Wilder 3. I dunno.

What are British Boxing fans missing out on?

The biggest British fight of all time in Saudi Arabia, instead of at Wembley in front of 80,000 crazy Brits?

Being charged £40 or £50 for a PPV?

Hearn has sold out British boxing fans for this anyway, this fight will happen at some point, it has to, maybe if it doesn't happen now it could end up at Wembley and I might be watching it live with a crazy atmosphere.

Sure that would obviously be better but that may never happen, or it may happen in the future when it’s no longer of such significance, one of them might have to drop a belt at some point for example. Working on the assumption that it will happen one day is never a good idea.

If the opportunity was seemingly there to make the fight and it’s been scuppered at the last moment surely that’s not a good thing.

Seems like one of those moments that people look back on in a few years and just shake their heads at.

p.s - I’m in Australia so might not have the same desire to see it based in the U.K. as you.

It may not have been possible to make the fight as early as we'd like in the UK.

I understand what you are both saying to a point, But all I'm saying is the biggest British fight of all time and it's in Saudi Arabia?

Why should I be bothered if it collapses? For British Boxing?

Because I want to see it? Well, I want to see lots of fights, I wanted to see AJ Vs Wilder, it didn't happen and I got over it.

I just don't have tha much emotional investment in it, it doesn't feel like the biggest British fight of all time, it just feels like anither big big fight.

It feels like one big money making exercise, we are taking the British fight of all time to a country that has an awful human rights record for cash.. it all just reeks.

This fight will happen, it may still happen and if it does then OK, great, but if it's doesn't and ends up in the UK next year the that's amazing.

On the contrary, from what I have read it’s the people with the most emotional investment that are the happiest this isn’t happening.

Most genuine boxing fans around the world seem to be in disbelief that people are actually celebrating the current biggest fight out there not happening.

OK, you've just proved you're not very aware of what I've said and not very aware of anything else.

Where have I "excused Warren"? Point to it, quote me, show me...

you can't because I haven't even mentioned him because according to Arum and Hearn, FW doesn't have much involvement really, he isn't really a big deal in this one.

No, I don't act like Hearn is the only promoter, HEARN SAID HE IS THE ONLY ONE DOING ANYTHING AND IF IT GETS MADE HE WILL TAKE FULL CREDIT.

Hearn said "I'll be unbearable" if he made the fight, Hearn has mouthed off for months "any day now" well if this goes sideways he has splaining to do Lucy.

So what? If it doesn't happen then I blame everybody else and not Hearn?

Go back to bed you moron, and I look forward to my quotes excusing Warren, hurry up, I ain't got all day.

I suppose it depends on the individual.

I believe after all th support British boxing fans have given Hearn, Matchroom and AJ and even Fury with his comeback.. they would want it over here.

They have all said it isn't about the money, it's about legacy and undisputed and then turn around and say "well we want the money".

It's a kick in the teeth to British Boxing that Saudi Arabia of all places takes the fight and we can sit at home and watch it for 40-50 quid.

Insulting and it takes something away from it in my opinion from a British perspective.
