    Like I said March 17th

Here's an interview from March with Alex Krassyuk (Usyk's manager) but he's been expressing doubt regarding it happening for a lot longer than that

Like I said, read my article. Styles make fights, Chisora's style is nothing like AJ's, and it's a style that has always given Usyk trouble, and he always looks uncomfortable fighting it. He even looked uncomfortable beating Beterbiev at the Olympics.

The only good thing from this debacle is that puny Usyk will be dealt with, before this silly hype gets out of hand!

I agree. Usyk won fair and square but didn't look like a dominant HW up against a B level boxer. I expected more from him. I don't see him beating either AJ or Fury but whatever...we'll know by the end of the year if he's the savior of the HW division.

I would prefer Usyk v Fury for all the belts. I would love to see the 'superfight' fall through. So this may well be a fantastic development. Why would anyone want Hearn and AJ to become the richest people in the UK? That's an abomination. Do you really want descendants of AJ's strippers buying up London and becoming royalty? You British need to think of the bigger picture.

Fury has sold out so it's a shame to give him more money, too, but it's all relative. If he and Usyk fight, the fortune will be less and it all just sits more nicely letting these two family guys share the pot.

Of course that's best case, but Wilder can now make things pretty ugly. Because Fury is rusty, may be unfocused after this decision and I think he's more in danger of getting KO'd than if he'd fought the rematch earlier (and that was still a risky fight). You don't want to be rusty and come back to avoid Wilder's fast bombs. Wilder also seems very motivated to get revenge for his voodoo spirit ancestors. So if he wins, it could be AJ Wilder, or Wilder Usyk and Wilder might land a big one on either.

So Wilder could actually end up undisputed by landing two punches this year.

I saw what I needed to see from Usyk against Chisora. That was the litmus test.

He isn't troubling any big, top heavyweight.

Bulked-up Usyk has to stop AJ to win (journeyman Chisora won 2-3 rounds but was given 5) because he'll be fighting on the road once again and won't be permitted to deny the ultra-lucrative Fury-AJ down the road by winning a points decision. AJ has a suspect gas tank and chin so Usyk could stop him but Hearn will make sure there's a rematch clause, as he did with AJ-Ruiz and Whyte-Povetkin.

No, it's not a good thing cause both Fury and Joshua will get older.
We need this fight to happen now

We could get a lot of good fights IF:
AJ vacant WBO belt and Fury vacant WBC belt. That way:

    AJ vs Fury
    Wilder vs Whyte
    Usyk vs Joyce

    will happen this summer :monoloco:

wilder is a lottery. If he's lucky (and he does not need to be incredibly lucky, just lucky enough), the game's over for fury.

blaha blah, fury got up one time. Yes, true. Will he be able to do it twice? probably yes, imho yes, but maybe not. Wilder is BY NO MEANS a risk free fight. Not for fury, not for anyone. A small mistake, you lose the concentration for a few seconds and.... GL, HF, GG and all those letters the people use now in the internet.

    Equally...

    Wilder is a lottery himself.

What kind of fighter is going to turn up?

How badly scarred is he mentally?
Does he still believe he can wait for the right moment for that bomb, or will he try and force the issue and leave himself wide open?
Has he got answers to the pressure style Fury put on him last time, if he brings that again?

Wilder in the groove is a risky fight even for fighters far more skilled than him... But that's only really an issue if he's at his best.

At this point they should just agree to a 4-man tournament: Fury vs Wilder 3 this Summer, Usyk vs Joshua in the Fall and winners face-off next Spring.
