I have seen nothing from Usyk that makes me consider him a threat to anyone in the top 5 up at Heavyweight. Shame really as I was convinced he would be a real problem for the division off the back of his cruiserweight and amateur successes.
However he is the only choice for AJ if the Fury fight falls through.

He should only be fighting any combination of AJ, Wilder or Usyk in each of his next 3 fights.

No more 40 year old shot to **** HWs from the previous era please. Time to stop taking the ****.

Lets be real about who AJ fought instead of Wilder, since that fight was meant to have been 100% signed...

    A 40 year old Povetkin
    A 40 year old Pulev
And Ruiz Jr twice; who to be fair was a decent challenge, until he ate himself into a coma for the rematch that he lost.

Hardly worthy fights instead of facing Wilder...

I'd rather see Ruiz get a third fight with AJ than see boring Usyk.

Said on another by thread by somebody, I apologise to that person for not remembering your name..

But what he said is true, looking at twitter and other places, AJ fans are really not confident about fighting Usyk, they seem to really not want it.

I've seen some bizarre names mentioned as possible opponents, Names like Arreola and I'm not sure he is even ranked and he is coming off a loss, I've even seen Chisora mentioned FFS, yeah Chisora was mentioned by an idiot but you get what I'm saying.

Usyk seems to worry AJ fans

Tbh, it would probably just be a re-run of II.

Maybe. But Ruiz should come in less than 286 pounds.
They are 1-1 at the moment and Ruiz has the stoppage win.

He's entitled, that's for sure. If he really wanted it though, think he could have done better than a busted to **** Arreola in his last fight. Not exactly kicking the door down, is he? If he'd fought Usyk (he's a good style for Usyk), Whyte, Ortiz, Hunter, Parker, even Wallin, these guys aren't unreachable.

Yeah, I guess the Arreola fight was a Mexican-American thing.
To be fair to Arreola he came in better shape at age 40 than he did for his entire prime !

    AJ-Whyte 2 is an option.

Funny how after they fought in 2015 both of them were saying they were bound to fight again, maybe twice again, over the coming years. Now, almost 6 years on, and nothing .....

Would rather Price vs Joshua than Whyte vs Joshua 2 if I'm being honest. It has to be Usyk who Joshua fights next surely?
