The fact is Wilder had a contract and they have said it's legit and should be honoured.

Imagine being Wilder, you've lost once and had a rematch clause, the pandemic hits and then you are watching Hearn, AJ, Fury and Arum doing $150 million deals.

I'm not a Wilder fan, I've seen the man twerk, I can't unsee that and I won't forgive him but there isn't a part of me happy he wasn't screwed over.

He is either getting his rematch or getting paid.

What's pissing off AJ fans is it seems now that Fury has turned down the chance to fight AJ for a third time.

If shoe was on the other foot the pitch forks would be out for AJ on this forum even if happend once.

AJ fighting Usyk which I am looking forward as they are the most talented in the division in my opinion. I will be rooting for AJ but I reckon Usyk will win (I'd back Usyk to beat anyone in division at present).

There was just no reason to refuse the fight. It’s not like Fury has been active anyway, or he had one potential fight lined up in Kabayel. Wilder’s team had a December or January date. They should’ve just took it and be over with.

Well nobody has turned it down, even Hearn said Fury was very willing.

A decision was made and Wilder is due a rematch, it may still happen, it may just need the Saudis to give Wilder a large sum lf money to go away and that's possible.

Yeah I get what your saying Mr S.

I've got no idea but whoever made the decision to rule in Wilders favour must have seen something we all haven't.

Fury should ask for a public apology from Wilder after all the slanderous crap he said about him and only then agree to send him into retirement. But I can’t see Fury ever agreeing to fight Wilder again.

The problem is, there’s deadlines and other fights to fill. I’m sure an appeal would probably win but have they got time for one?

This all suits the Fury team anyway, ESPN / Top Rank get a prime time PPV, can probably do it in a full arena in Vegas now restrictions have been lifted there, it’s an easy fight (don’t give me it’s not), he’s not going in to the biggest fight of his life having been out the ring for so long now.

Anthony Joshua however, somehow got to defeat Usyk who I think gives him real problems, will the Saudi’s be interested in it? No Wembley due to Euros, what other locations?

Yeah, that might happen, just one fight, all the belts and agree to another next year regardless of the situation, a simple straightner LOL

We will see, I think if no Fury then Hearn will offer the Saudis Usyk for a far cheaper price than he would usually ask for as an "apology" and hope they can do Fury AJ there later on.

Unless they agreed to an appeals procedure, im not sure they even can appeal it.

Wilder isn't an easy fight for anyone imo, even with his shortcomings

Anyone else find it interesting that Hearn gave his exclusive to Matchroom's Youtube channel and not Kugan?

I think Kugan's days may be numbered.

Kugan will still get a interview but Matchroom have started doing their own production haven't they so I guess this is the start of them putting out their own videos.

Im sorry but he is. Against Fury he’s won 1 round? Against old man Ortiz lost every round before the knockout. There as some others too. He’s literally got one shot.

Come on mate, you know better than that. If Wilder lands with a good one, and with this Kronk style, Fury is easier to land on, than he could very easily put him away.

If he’s easier to land on with his new aggressive style why was it so hard for him? Because Wilder hates pressure. That first fight was his only ever shot at beating Fury, Fury thought he could only fight on the back foot. Wilder is 3 years older since then and will be nearly 36, he just isn’t beating Fury.
