Why are some people actually celebrating the HW undisputed fight potentially being off?

What Arum said had no bearing on whether the fight *actually happened*, hence my comment about it being no one's fault. They could have accepted the rematch, but at minimum their attorneys must have thought their claims were meritorious. So blame the attorneys, if you want, but the fight getting delayed ultimately is a Covid issue.

The Americans had their chances for decades and constantly failed.

Lewis took over from Evan Fields in 1999 and the HW championship has never been in American hands since unless you count Rahman's lucky punch and Wilder's bum run.

Are you defending Saudi Arabia’s record on human rights? Is the best you can do whatabout-ism?

I merely asked your opinion regarding these two fights, as it is you who is bringing human rights into the debate.
I personally am neither defending or attacking any ones record of human rights.

I can’t have the same views, as you asked, about this fight that now seems not to be happening and two fights that did happen before I was aware to have views on them.

So I am happy if the Saudis don’t get to use sport to do PR for them. I cannot be happy that the two regimes you mentioned did not, because they did.

I condemn all abuses of human rights.

I wouldn't count out the fight not happening just yet. Money talks and the Saudis have placed a lot on the table.
