He will be strong but the bigger dudes are also stronger, his speed will be his advantage at the higher weights Provided he puts the weight on properly.

Tank Davis might well be strong at the weight, but I think his effectiveness would be greatly diminished (which is another way of saying he wouldn't be able to weight bully people at 140 as he was doing at 130). Davis has an extremely leaky defence: if he shipped a lot of shots and was being ouboxed by blown up Featherweight Leo Santa Cruz, what do you suppose would happen when he fights Barrios, or even if he fights Josh Taylor, Regis Prograis, Jose Carlos Ramirez or Viktor Postol at 140 for that matter?
I think he will struggle at 140, there are some big men up there. The advantages he has had will be gone, sure he can punch and will probably carry the power up but the men at 140 will be hitting harder. I don't think he gets past Barrios anyway,
look at the difference in size for Tank at 140. This content is protected Barrios may not be the best at 140 but he a solid 140 fighter. Only thing I don't like about him is his speed. Regardless I think is going to bust up Tank from the outside in this fight.
Tank is pretty good. But there are weight classes for a reason. He's very likely to suffer the same fate as Loma if he fights a top dog at 140 who's gonna outweigh him by 10+ pounds on fight night, and probably 4+ inches in height/reach. P4P I think he's better at everyone at 140, except Taylor and maybe Prograis. I'd still like to see him fight Prograis, though. That'd be a good fight for as long as it lasts.
No way he’s a 140 pounder. What makes you think he’s going to fight any of the top guys? You will never see Tank fight Prograis, Taylor, Ramirez or Postol. Barrios is nothing special and you can expect Tank to dig up more guys at this level if he sticks around at 140. He escaped 135 without fighting any legit opponents, who did he fight at 130? How much longer can he milk that Pedraza fight? Somehow he got out it 135, a stacked division without facing a single legit opponent. He will do the same at 140 until people wake up to the fact that he’s playing them for chumps.
Really weird way to move for a boxer. Why would you go there if you have not even faced top guys at 135 ?
