The fault is with TeamFury not Edward Hearn.

The one party who tried to make the fight, who arranged it all, got it signed by both fighters, is at fault? Sure.

State of some of the posters on this site is unbelievable at times.

Wilder just isn't a likable character. Even a flex like this is awkward and weird.
Can someone get him into a gym to learn how to deadlift - it hurt to watch

I quite like the idea of it being OG Bob playing Eddie along from the get-go. Sneak move for sure but the old fox outfoxed the young fox and showed him that even though he's long in the tooth and way past his prime his fangs are still razor sharp enough to give you a nasty bite.

    ITS HEARNZ FAULT

HE INTENTIONALLY DELAYED THE NEGOTIATIONS TO FORCE FURY TO BE INACTIVE AS LONG AS POSSIBLE. HEARNZ HAD 1 YEAR TO MAKE THE FIGHT AND DIDNT DELIVER.

Hearn absolutely did promise this fight when he must have known the legal problem with Wilder all along, so he's definitely at fault. He would have known more than we all do. This was probably also why Warren and Arum were sitting back on all this. Hearn was likely happy to do it all himself because he would get more for himself if the fight happened. But the fact is, it looks like he jumped the gun, unless he could somehow buy Wilder off now. But Wilder seems quite determined to fight Fury and also spoil the party.

I could imagine Joshua being quite angry at Hearn since it wouldn't surprise me if Hearn wasn't completely open about the reality of the Wilder case. Joshua doesn't want to fight Usyk because it's a risky fight for him and it would be humiliating to lose to a cruiser, even if the cruiser is an ATG. The sad thing is that Joshua probably also now feels that Hearn isn't really his friend, and doesn't really support BLM.

How is this Eddie's fault? Eddie basically made this fight, it's Fury's team who have ****ed up big time with not sorting Wilder out.

If the other side has commitments then it's hard to make anything happen

A was supposed to fight B

    B was committed to C

B forgot to tell A that C had his balls in a vice

B wasted the time, effort and money of all involved. C just waited for his opportunity to strike.

By the way, there is a genuine possibility that Wilder comes back and ices Fury if he is more focused.

    Exactly.

Bob Arum strung everyone along including Fury. He knew the Wilder situation was going nowhere but he still let negotiations proceed for a Joshua fight

No doubt wilder/ Haymon played the covid card at the arbitration, which lets be real here, Arum and hearns would of both known that these are unusual times and anyone with an ounce of sense would not be confident of an outcome either way on any contracts drawn up pre covid.
This was always a possible outcome that both party's would of known might of happened and now they are both in scenarios that were always possible.
