The Fury-Wilder 3 situation, why all the histrionics from fans ?

The histrionics are a result of combinations of: 1. people feeling the fight is unnecessary since wilder was smashed in the second fight and 2. that if a third fight was going to happen it should have happened several months ago since fury was willing to have the fight on any of a few different proposed dates last fall and winter.

Personally, I don't have enough of an understanding of the contract of the third fight, or of contract law in general, to have a strong opinion about the arbitration ruling one way or another. At the very least, I do know there were multiple opportunities to make this fight happen in the past. Are those attempts to make the fight happen and Fury's willingness to fight on those dates worth anything? Also, is there some sort of compensation requirement in the contract for the third fight? For example, "the third fight must guarantee at least $XX million from ticket sales," or "the third fight must guarantee a minimum generation of $XX million dollars so that wilder can be paid at least $XX million dollars and Fury can be paid at least $XX million dollars." If something like that was NOT in the contract, then the pandemic is no longer an excuse. Hell, Joshua had a big payday fight in december, which leads me to believe that this fight could have happened by now.

The question is, in case Wilder lays Fury out.....and there is a distinct possibility because Wilder almost put Fury in a coma and nobody ever has hurt Fury like that before or after vs Fury got a towel stoppage with Wilder still wanting to go.............do you Brits know the difference ?
Maybe not, because when the going gets rough spitting the mouth piece out and quitting or running your mouth and quitting after one shot landed from a blown up former Junior Middle..........

If Wilder wins, is there a fourth fight ? Is the Bodybuilder shut out after defeating watch paint dry Usyk ? Heavybag Whyte II after that or is it local club fighter Chisora?? Is the rumor true that the Saudis are MIA ?

It is amazing what one or two right hands could do to the Heavyweight landscape........

So many hurdles for the Boxingforum24 accountants.

What I don't get is why is there a re-match clause for a fight that was a re-match. Does the Bronze Bummer have an indefinite re-match clause every time he gets beat until he wins. The man is a tit.

Because you are dense even more then concrete.............Wilder gave Fury another shot after the draw and a draw it was no matter how armchair pistoleros like you scream it was not because you have never ever been Ringside at anything............."scoring" from your 5 inch Obama phone means jack.....fact.............Fury agreed to a THIRD FIGHT AND SIGNED...............that went right over your head too.

I try not to follow the silly dramatics that boxing promotion has become, but I distinctly remember feeling like team Fury was jumping the gun when they first started saying that time was up for Wilder and they were moving on. The way the statements were worded and being vague on actual details had me wondering if it was some type of negotiating ploy. As many say, don't fall for the hype, get excited when they step in the ring. Remember the silly coin toss before Parker / Chisora?

You cannot see Wilder get his head kicked in too often IMO.

Not the same level of excitement for Wilder-Fury III as Fury-Joshua.

If you sign a contract fro a rematch you can’t just walk away from it because it doesn’t suit you anymore.

We don't know the terms of that contract. Pandemic was not able to be foreseen so it enters a grey area of interpretation.
Was there an expiry date ? Which side tried to make the fight ?

Those whining are doing so because they didn't get what they wanted. They are visibly Fury fanboys. And they're complaining because it doesn't make their boy look good in any way.

Pretty clear that Furys team didn't uphold what is called good faith negotiating. I'm sure Wilders team just produced all the communications and apparently it was pretty darn decisive.

Most of them are whining at Fury though.
