Tommy Fury next oppenent

Jake Paul will probably fight someone better next.

 

This is poor, really poor, even for novice standards. 4 out of 6 of his opponents will not have had a single win. He’s learning absolutely nothing now - no different styles just fellas who are happy to hold their hands up and take a pasting for 3 grand.

He’ll have literally no experience with different styles, so when he comes to wild swinging journeyman type he’ll have no idea what to do, or what to do with the slick type always slipping and tying up or even the dirty type. They are building him up for an almighty fall.

 

Moving him slowly.....No kidding they are moving him backwards.
This is a joke. I'm really tired of matchmaking like this, its the reason why unknown Mexicans with losses on their records are coming over and bashing people up.
Having 20 fights against cans does not make you a world title challenger, need to move through the levels and step it up fight after fight going through Area, English onto British/Commonwealth then Euro and fringe world for a couple of fights.
This kind of matchmaking is everything thats wrong with British Boxing. Tommy should be looking to pick up an Area belt by now by fighting someone on his level to learn.
Seems to me Frank is dying to get him in with Paul for the payday and wont risk anyone even throwing a punch at Tommy.

 

Surely he has something about him he has been in the Gym with Tyson and Hughie all his life, has had a better start to life in boxing than most kids who turn up at gyms as unknowns.

 

This is absolutely ridiculous and just proves that he's a gimmick. 0-14, unbelievable. At this stage I would welcome Jake Paul beating him with open arms, people say Paul is bad for boxing and while I don't deny that Tommy Fury is no better, if not worse.

 

Lets be honest. Tommy is a celebrity boxer, he is a notch above YouTubers amd clearly that is the route they are trying to take him for a payday.

 

Isnt Andy Bishop a former middleweight and heavyweight champ? Great opponent for Tommy Fury!

Iirc and I have the right fighter Bishop is a southpaw...TeamFury probably looking for spaw experience.

 

I think he's almost definitely on steroids too. His physique is unnaturally puffy, like an action man. Perhaps that explains the type of opponents he's getting.. ones who are happy to let things slide to make a few quid.

The idea is clearly to get him involved in that YouTuber/celebrity boxing circuit.

 

He ought to be embarrassed.
His whole family should be embarrassed.

 

Yeah I think that's been the feeling for a while now, he had that roided up Marbella beach physique that you see on no end of juicers these days, the Love Island bod.
