    Whyte, why not?

Whyte has nothing to do, well Arreola is being mentioned, another 40 year old

So why doesn't Eddie reach out and make this fight, all British showdown, there will be a lot on the line, I like this fight.

36 years old isn't old for a heavyweight, especially one who has a few fights. You do realize George Foreman fought until he was 48?

Joyce will probably go back to fighting has been and nobodies like he did so far in his career. A fight against even somebody like Charles Martin would be a big step up. Ortiz is 50, Povetkin is done and in his 40's. Fighting them wouldn't be a step up

    Joyce should definitely fight Whyte.
To decide the #3 British heavyweight.

Whyte's fighting over in the US next and E-Hearn says he wants to put him in with an American opponent. Arreola's one of the names which has been mentioned. Even though he's 40 y/o and way past his best he's coming off that good performance against Fat Andy where he dropped him, came within a whisker of dropping him x 2, and hurt or rocked him numerous throughout the fight so if Whyte were to smash Arreola to bits over there it would build up interest for a fight between him and Fat Andy.

That being said, I wouldn't mind seeing Joyce smack up Arreola over there whilst simultaneously treating the US fans to a demonstration of his unconventional but deceptively effective mummified British slickness.

They are not mandatories yet but they are favourites in a final eliminator fight, hence why Hrgovic has been ducked so heavily and Joyce will be as well now that Usyk is fighting AJ, so it makes no sense for Joyce and Hrgovic to fight. Martin has already ducked Hrgovic. Someone else will have to step up, maybe an unheralded opponent in the top 15.

He needs to fight someone near the top of the heap, such as Whyte or Parker. Its the only way he can become a mandatory and be 'next in line' for a title shot.

It's a shame that no promoter cares about Joyce. All he does is sit on the sidelines doing nothing now.

It's not just promoters job . It's the job of the fighter too. Get out in the social media, call people's names out. Get into press conferences , make some noise. Sell yourself to the public ffs.

All of the above help you get the big fights. Joe Joyce doesn't do any of that. Hence why he is a relative unknown in boxing circles.

Joyce holds the commonwealth, British and European titles, will probably have a tick over fight defending those. Those world titles are pretty much tied up for this year what with wilder vs fury and AJ vs usyk

Well his promoter could at least get him out more often. He has the Euro title, why not just defend that for the time being?

Whyte is only calling out old guys and guys who are coming off a loss...
I wouldn't mind seeing those 2 against eachother, Whyte's lead hook to the body would be his best tool against someone like Joyce.

    Possibly.

Then again, if he feels like the WBC hasn't been entirely fair with him to date... And with the slim possibility that Wilder regains the belt and gets protected from him again...

Maybe he'd be interested in a fight that helps him stake a claim at another organisation too?
