Did Fury just pull off the most creative and plausively deniable duck in boxing history ?

    No. Wilder took his contract with Fury to court and won. There is literally no more to it than that...

    No, but I think he's just rattled AJ straight to the core in a way that nobody else could. Completely by accident :lol:

    Everything in this thread is backwards.

    Most of the people now defending Fury are the same people who have spent the past year insisting:

    * Fury took Wilder's soul
    * Wilder wants nothing to do with Fury ever again
    * Wilder was through
    * Time to move on from Wilder
    * Nobody wants to see Fury-Wilder again
    * Wilder won't ask for a rematch
    * Wilder waited until the contract expired
    * Wilder is hiding, Wilder won't talk
    * Wilder only fights cans
    * Joshua-Fury is next ...

    Basically all the way up until FOUR Days Ago ...

    And now they are all going, "Well, of course he has to fight Wilder next. They've known that for a year." (LOL)

    Fury knew he had a deal with Wilder to fight Wilder "FIRST" when he unsuccessfully tried to fight Kabayel last December.

    Fury knew he had deal with Wilder to fight Wilder "FIRST" when he agreed to two fights with Joshua.

    That's why the arbitrator got involved.

    There were no surprises here. That's why Arum kept dates reserved at the Raiders' stadium, where the Wilder-Fury 3 fight was always going to be held.

    Fury was relishing the opportunity to fight Joshua. He even said how he was going to win, by hitting him with a left hook to the temple. Everyone knows that's how you rock Joshua. That's how Whyte, Ruiz, Wlad, they all did it.

    And everyone from Arum to Fury to Hearn to "the missing sheik" to EVERYONE here convinced everyone else Wilder was going to skip the third fight. All of them.

    They all said Wilder was going to back out SO MANY TIMES ... they hoped perception became reality.

    Because, the truth is, Fury was NEVER SO HAPPY than when he thought he'd never have to fight Wilder again. It took the two best performances of his entire career, and he had to get off the floor twice, to get by with ONE win.

    And he happily insulted the hell out of Wilder because he thought he'd never have to share the ring with him again.

    Because the only guy in the division who can take him out with one shot is Wilder. And Fury avoided that one shot for 19 rounds.

    And now he's got to try to do it again for another 12.

    You see, Fury wasn't "ducking" Joshua when he signed to fight Joshua, Fury was trying to get out of a third Wilder fight ... and they thought this year of momentum and talk of superfights (that were a mirage) could get them out of it.

    And it didn't.

    #WilderFury3 is next. And Wilder kills him. Third time's a charm.

    Then why did Wilder ask for it?

    Oh please.

    You guys have been saying for a year ... "he's just looking for a couple million step-aside" ...

    Meanwhile, he activated his rematch clause a week after the fight. Got surgery to repair his left bicep. They found a site for the third fight. They got dates and then had to push them back because of Covid. He changed his training team. He's ripped and ready to go. Fury tries to bail. Wilder takes it to an arbitrator. Gets the ruling he wants. They now have a stadium and a date in July.

    How the hell are those the actions of a guy looking for a step-aside fee?

    Give me a break. Seriously.

    Everyone spread so many lies for a freaking year ... they all convinced themselves the lies were reality.

    Wilder has wanted the third fight since February 2020.

    And he got it ... because WILDER is the one who didn't back down and roll over like everyone flapping their lips for a year wanted to.

    And the ONLY REASON they are having a third fight is because WILDER pushed it. No one else.

    And now Fury is going to have to avoid getting KOed all over again.

    Wilder is a bum , a fraud, glass jawed, can't fight, can;t box etc etc etc.........Wilder is the most hated Fighter on this Forum taking the crown from Mayweather and Canelo, the Brits are in absolute panic over him..........if Wilder did pull the trigger on Fury this place will be at absolute melt down level with Wilder getting zero credit and truck loads of Fury excuses raining in.Fact.

    The sad part is that the Brits cannot even stage a Superfight on their own soil with two Brit fighters............they need a MIA Sheik to bank roll it in some third world desert......and the Sheik did a desert Mirage

    As far as Boxing and $$$ are concerned , all roads lead to the USA.

    If Fury isn't ducking then he and his staff are incompetent.
    Wilder would have taken the step aside $$$. Do it and fight the big fight.
    All this on again, off again BS sounds like the Klit rematch which turned into a coke binge.

    And if you call someone a moron you are one. Smart people don't say that.
    Disagree fine but name calling is for children. Grow up.

    That's ridiculous. Wilder is far more dangerous than Joshua.

    Frank Warren came out a couple of days ago and said Hearn was fully aware of the situation.

    Arum, Hearn, Fury and AJ all knew this judgement was coming, we all knew this went to arbitration, this wasn't a surprise.

    The outcome may have surprised people but it was always a possibility.

    I still think Hearn thought if he could tie it all up, get the money guaranteed and have the Saudi Royal family involved then he could basically force this through.

    I believe Hearn though nobody would block a fight of this size so he went full steam ahead.

    Apart from the Matchroom YouTube interview, Hearn has gone missing, you can't keep him away from a camera most days of the week and if Hearn honestly thought he was conned, robbed, tricked, lead down the garden path he would have done an IFL with Koogs and gone in on everybody.

    He still might, but this says to me he feels a little foolish, because if anybody actually presses him on the abritration and why didn't he check everything out considering he has had many digs at Arum about smoking weed and his old age... what can Hearn actually say?

    "Yeah he is a 90 year old pot head who has a history of lying.. yeah I trusted his word"

    HE LOOKS A FOOL.

    A duck is Riddick Bowe dumping the WBC in the trash because he didn’t wanna fight Lennox Lewis. Losing an arbitration and having to fight a contractually obligated fight is not a duck.

    The problem is the boxing journalist and media tried to ignore that Wilder and Fury was in arbitration the whole time. No one mentioned it because they assumed Wilder didn’t want to fight anymore. Well this proves otherwise and I can’t fault him for wanting revenge for the brutal beating he took. Still wanna see undisputed but things happen..

    Did you just pull off the most "not so creative" thread in boxing history?
