Ramirez had his arms crossed when they were doing the coin toss. He just looked uncomfortable whereas Taylor looked very relaxed. I think this is going the full 12 rounds and with Taylor looking the more relaxed and arguably has more experience in terms of 'massive' fights I think he will settle quicker and win the early rounds that could count towards a points win. That said, he does fight in the eye of the storm and he can be hit. He needs to avoid eye injuries etc that may scupper it for him. Taylor MD
I'd go along with all of that. One or two more rounds against Prograis and his eye might have got it stopped - still think he did enough to win that fight but he took a few risks getting there - especially early on.
I got some great odds on Ramirez winning, and then again on Ramirez by late stoppage. I think this fight is a lot closer than the oddsmakers say.
But Sky picked up Logan Paul Vs Mayweather in an exhibition. The absolute state of British boxing, we are quickly turning in to a joke.
Anyway, Taylor via decision. Couldn't decide for a while between Taylor winning by stoppage or decision but I think Ramirez is tough enough to last the 12.
I actually hope Ramierez knocks him out and bursts his bubble. The more I see of Taylor in the build-up to this fight the more he comes across as an unpleasant dislikable character. I believe he will crumble mentally when it's actually put on him.
What a rubbish statement, obviously a McGuigan fanboy. He has won the WBSS after very few fights, fought loads of unbeaten guys but will crumble under pressure !!!!! Bitter fool
I would hazard a guess that it's posts of this nature that are the reason why you keep having to make ALT accounts. Ramirez was with his wife after the weigh-in and Josh purposely tried to intimidate him, that for me is the act of a coward and someone who is deeply insecure hiding behind a facade. It's very similar to people who create ALT accounts on social media and sites like these for the simple purpose of lowering the tone of the discussion to that of a neanderthal, which is precisely the level of their intelligence and emotional literacy. Enjoy your day.
Taylor is the favourite for me but I'm bottling a prediction. Not seen a lot of Ramirez but he better have a real good chin and be very determined because from what I've seen Taylor will catch him clean at times throughout this fight with his sharper accurate shots. It's the US though and we'll soon see how Taylor is with Davison in camp and not Shane McGuigan who done a great job with Josh. Hopefully it's a cracker of a fight which I'm confident it will, may the best man win.
Got that feel in my gut that Taylor is being just too macho and vocal pre fight and that shows a weakness imo and I really think the nerves will play a part in this fight. This could go all the way with a bad points win for Ramirez.
He does this before every fight, he's got that nastiness about him. The build up before the Davies fight was worse.
