So this is the guy you say it would just be another day in the park when facing Deontay Wilder?

Um now you are insulting Michael Grant. Grant was light years above Wilder. I don't recall Grant throwing wild windmill punches hoping to get lucky and land one punch.

But yeah Lewis would destroy Wilder. Lewis would also destroy Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury.

I'm assuming you mean 55-year-old Lennox? In that case it's a 50/50. 60/40 to Wilder if heavy suits are banned in the contract.

But don't get ahead of yourself, huh. Let's see if Wilder can be competitive with the man who completely demolished him in his last fight...

I guess it's not surprising Wilder fans have suddenly resurfaced on the forum following by far the biggest win of his career, the win that has pitched him back in the company of the division's elite. Yeah, that court win is the best on his resume...

Lewis is a diffrent animal. I get what you're saying, but lets be honest, Lewis beat himself in those losses. Not training or lack of focus, whatever it may be, but those loses weren't due to McCall or Rahman being better. That being said, ATG's don't get knocked out by those level guys while they are in their prime. Prime greats stay focused, in shape and ready.

It's not defining his legacy by a loss.
But at the very highest all-time level, among the absolute historical elite, it is often the losses that separate the fighters. For example, Muhammad Ali lost close competitive decisions against Frazier (an all-time) and Norton, and even when he was well past it was never sparked out by one punch .... Holmes lost his title by close decision.
    Marciano never lost.
    Hagler was never knocked out.
Lewis's losses are BAD losses, while he was prime or champion. That's relevant. I'm sure if Fury was to get sparked out by someone like Oscar Rivas, his legacy would take a hit.

Knocked out by Rahman and McCall, pushed to the limit by Ray Mercer, outboxed (could even use the term "schooled" here) by Frank Bruno prior to Bruno's glass jaw letting him down... Honestly, I don't really get what so many see in him. As more time passes by, my view becomes more and more solidified that Anthony Joshua would knock him out.

Why is Holmes seem as elite but Lewis isn't ? That's absolute bull**** :risas3:. Yes he lost to Rahman but he was overconfident as hell and got caught. It happens. The same exact thing happened with prime Ali vs 185 pound Henry Cooper. The man wasnt even a real heavyweight and a bum at that and he put Ali on his ass. but Ali had better recovery abilities and was able to get up and take care of him. Lewis laid Rahmans ass out the immediate rematch. And Lewis wasn't in his prime against Mccall and he also beat Mccalll in a rematch.

You may not like Lewis but he's an ATG

Well. It doesn't happen to everyone, it didn't happen to Holmes, for example.
Holmes won 48 straight fights and lost his title by close decision.
Holmes was stopped once in his whole career, up to age of 50.
Not by any ordinary fighter. By prime Tyson, when 38 years old and past prime.
    See ?

No, that's not the exact same thing.
You've just explained a reason why Ali was better fighter.

You're making my points for me.

Ali wasn't in his prime against Cooper either, and won that fight anyway.
These points underline why Lewis was somewhat inferior.
Yes, i agree, he probably destroys Wilder.

Holmes in his prime also fought in a weaker era. Holmes is one of my favorite fighters but his era wasn't that good although it was better than the Klitschko era.

Who said Ali wasn't better ? Explain when i claimed Lewis was better than Ali ? No points to be made. I consider him in the same category with Ali and Holmes but Ali is still the greater fighter. Ali is arguably the greatest Heavyweight of all time. But Lewis is still an ATG. Also Henry Cooper is tiny so if it was a full fledged Heavyweight like Mccall that unexpectedly caught him then Ali might've been knocked out

A fully focused Lewis would destroy Fury too, and Aj, on his best night of course.

Lewis is certainly a better all around boxer than Wilder, but if low level boxers like Rahman and McCall can KTFO Lewise, then so can Wilder who packs a much more powerful punch than those guys.

I rate the chances of Wilder knocking Lewis out at 20%. 1 chance in 5.

Well since Lewis was on wobbly legs the ref stopped the fight against Mccall but right after Lewis complained that he was ready to go again. If the ref didn't stop it maybe Lewis would have won

Doubt it. He didn't have exactly stellar punch resistance. He was done after that punch.

Yeah against punches he didn't see coming. When he was game he took blows from Holyfield, Vitali, Briggs, Tua, etc.
