Wilder is one of the biggest frauds in the history of the sport.

Now, all we need is a lucky punch in Fury Wilder 3 and unification will never happen

Give Wilder enough rounds and at some point he'll land the money shot... I guarantee that's what he and his management are thinking and he could well pull it off.. It'd be tragic for boxing if he did. Hopefully Fury dismantles and brutalises him worse this time round

    I don't care about unification.
As long as the best fight the best. I don't care which belts are unified.
Fury needs to fight Joshua, after he's dealt with Wilder. Whether it's undisputed or not.

Wilder had the balls to fight the future GOAT TWICE! Now he is about to fight him for a 3rd time

How many times has Joshua challenged the number 1 or 2 in the division? 0.

Wilder was behind 9/11 as well.

Sure it will never unify. He would be able to exhibit a certificate attesting to being Joshua's brother as Vitali with Wlad in order not to unify. Lol

Unfortunately for him Fury will win again.

No proof is needed. He is a fraud and a parasite. I don't need proof that water is wet, either.

    Leaving Wilder aside completely...

What in Fury's resume to date backs up this assertion?

Even if he beats Wilder a third time and then demolishes AJ twice (because rematch is guaranteed to be in the contract) it's still a big stretch to argue that he's GOAT - it'd be easily arguable that he's not even top 5.

    Belts mean little now

If Fury and Aj decided to bin all belts tomorrow, they would still be seen as 1 and 2

You maybe don't watch ufc? But khabib who has only recently retired could come back and fight without the title and he would still be viewd as number 1. Obviously the longer one retires then this changes

I'm still fairly new around here so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt unless/until he removes it....

What's interesting is Wilder fans seeming to big up Fury even more now the rematch is on, as if somehow a Wilder win redeems his reputation.

Truth is, IMHO, he'd still be 2-1 down and you still have to ask serious questions about Fury's level - you can't use the Wilder fights as evidence of Fury having a strong resume in order to inflate Wilders own resume.... And besides Wlad, a long time ago, what has Fury really done?

Yes, Fury looks a far more complete boxer than Wilder and has at least got good a couple of more serious names on his resume than Wilder has, but he's still got nowhere near the resume to declare him a clear #1 right now, let alone "GOAT".
