Leonard beat Duran in the second fight by making him quit.
Leonard beat an unbeaten Hearns who knocked out Duran.
Leonard beat and stopped Benitez who beat Duran.
Leonard beat Hagler who beat Duran.
How is it that Duran is greater?

Leonard may be better, but he did not have a greater career than Roberto

He had some bigger wins, but Duran had much more longevity and is the GOAT 135 lb fighter

Don't forget that Duran started out lighter than Leonard and that matters certainly when facing monsters like hearts and hagler

He got rolled over by hearns but Roberto v Marvin was competitive

Imagine a guy previously at 135 being competitive with one of the most fearsome middleweight ever

How competitive do you think Ray Leonard would be with someone like spinks at light heavy?

He has wins over FOUR legends of the sport and two were unbeaten at the time.
And he holds a win over a middleweight champion who is considered to be top 3/4 middleweight champion of ALLTIME.

I'm a Hearns fan and even I have to admit Rays victories are INSANE.
