    Not necessarily. Without the KDs it is possible Ramirez could have won one of those rounds 10-9 as well, and the fight. Taylor really needed two KDs to get the win there. Glad he did, but I don't see him as good as his belts and wins suggest.

    Taylor is fast and has fantastic technique, and lands some really good clean shots, but he doesn't seem to have that X-factor power needed against the 147-elite, and his style is a bit open defensively. To box at his best, he needs some distance. Crawford is stronger and would break him down, and a good pressure fighter who can close the distance and fight him at close range could also defeat him in a stylistically ugly fight.

    If he moves up now, I think he needs 1-2 fights against top 10 fighters, such as Avanesyan or Kavaliauskas, before he challenges someone like Crawford or Spence. Right now I believe even Ugas and Porter could beat Taylor. Maybe Pacman too.

    The judges have almost driven me away from the sport a number of times.

    You almost have to knock everyone out to guarantee you win.

    I remember when Golota fought Byrd for a belt. I thought he won. It was a draw. Next fight he fought Ruiz for a belt, dropped him twice, I thought Golota won easy, but they gave it to Ruiz. Next fight he fought Brewster for a third heavyweight belt, got knocked out in one. But, at that point, that fight should've been for three of the four heavyweight belts.

    Sometimes, fighters unify belts in the ring, but the judges keep the belts apart.

    Can't believe all three judges had it 6-6. I don't know if I've ever seen a three-way draw in my life in a title fight.

    We would've had one tonight.

    I have nothing but respect for JCR but it's amazing how people underrate Taylor. He's got lovely skills, power, chin, grit, heart, stamina and a fierce will to win. Like I've been saying for ages, he's the most complete and best fighter in Britain because he's got it all and you have to factor in how steep the learning curve is he's been on. He's unified a division in 18 fights for goodness sake and just done so in his opponent's backyard.

    18-0 and unified all four belts, has beaten five world champions in 18 fights, and these are his last six opponent's records

    I'm not sure any in our lifetimes will ever be as beloved as Jim Watt (followed by Rickeh), but aye, Taylor may just be zeroing in on GOAT. Nipping at Buchanan's and Lynch's heels at least.
