After the first knockdown ramirez was more hesistant to go on a full attack mode. By the 5th round i felt ramirez gained a little momentum but taylor punished him for going in to reckless. Ramirez had to dig deep to stay on his feet with help from bayless too. Take it for what it is, in the future bouts. Taylor got pushed hard enough from ramirez that in the last 3 rounds taylor had to coast a bit. Every time he got hit late in the fight he didnt like it

Yeah it's been a really impressive run of wins, especially given he's still only had 18 fights.

The sad thing is his lack of exposure. Loads of ****s in Britain genuinely will have no clue who Taylor is.

He's easily up there with Dalglish already, Dalglish was one of the best players in the world and Taylor is one of the best boxers in the world. If he keeps on going like this he will eclipse Dalglishs achievements in a couple of years.

    Naw, I don't think so.

He'll need three, maybe four rounds to retire the Nebraskan.

That’s how I saw it as well. Just a poor showing from him.

You're being WAAAAAYYYY too optimistic, if he hadn't been dropped in either.... all three of the judges would've probably given Ramirez the knockdown rounds as well. Josh would have lost 116-112:ohno

    I agree

there were more than a few swing rounds. In theory, a coin *can* land heads 3,4,5 times in a row. But you are either not paying attention or are completely biased to not be suspicious of a coin that lands heads repeatedly in practice.

Another aspect that clouds the judging of the fight is that ramirez won close rounds while Taylor took many CRYSTAL CLEAR rounds.

Personally, had 8-4 Taylor. two 10-8s.
