Nah, they were both duking it out on the inside. JCR butted him a bunch of times and hit him on the break too IIRC

BTW, your beard still looks drawn on and to be perfectly blunt with you you look like a female to male transgender, not that there's anything wrong with though.

I would put Murray no. 1. Guy was top 4 player in the golden era of tennis.

I think Crawford stops Taylor but that is a fight I'd like to see. Though Taylor was impressive tonight he was never hit with any clean big shots but still looked vulnerable at times. He clinched way too often and pushed Ramirez's head down. No way Crawford puts up with that.

Regarding Crawford it's an interesting one with plenty to consider:-
+ Crawford's freakish reach advantage vs how good Taylor is on the inside; no one has really been good enough to work Crawford on the inside; how does Bud deal with the body shots
    + Taylor's always been tight @140 - will he punch harder @147?
+ A shot Gamboa had Crawford's legs wobbling, can Bud pass a proper chin check?
+ Can Taylor tighten up his defence to avoid getting shutout by Bud
+ How much has Crawford's lack of A level activity in recent years affected him

I've never been fully sold on Crawford after expecting him to destroy a gunshy post-Beltran Ricky Burns; where he was good, but never really showed the spite/finishing i'd been hearing.

Crawford's recent resume is ****-poor @147.

But if Taylor is going to move up, IMO he deffo should take a couple of 'acclimitisation' fights at 147 first. I think going straight in against someone as seasoned and skillful as Bud is a bridge too far.

Although an infinitely harder fight, with the extra weight, I wouldn't rule it out. Because both Crawford and Taylor are stylistic nightmares.... for each other.

Actually no I mulled that dark possibility over earlier too, in the context of Ward's card, which I like to believe represents the worst case scenario for judges. :sisi1 :shakehead:

Scary to think josh is genuinely best fighter in UK (am Scottish) in 20.years and my next door neighbour would not know who he is.

What a talent what a fighter Prograis and ramirez is better than Hatton has beat

Mental that two Hibs fans would arguably make up two spots in the top 3 ATG Scottish sportspeople when their club is the epitome of failure.

Taylors chin is too strong and he's and excellent boxer technically when he wants to be. Crawford would edge out a points decision but it would be a close fight imo. Its a money maker that should be held at Edinburgh castle

Maybe on achievements, but Kenny was never going to achieve the same as Pele/Maradona/Messi/Ronaldo because football's a team game, and Scotland were never gonna win the world cup.

I was just going on pure talent.

Hard to overlook Murray on achievements - and easier to compare solo sports vs teams deffo.

Postol was a common opponent for Taylor and Crawford and they had similar performances. I think it'd be a superb fight. Right now I'd like to see it more than I'd Crawford vs Spence. I think Spence belongs in higher weight classes. Crawford and Taylor are good matches, both in size and talent.
