Shocking scorecards 114-112???? I could only give Ramirez 3 rounds...4 at an absolute generous stretch. Thought that was a brilliant performance from Taylor all around. Chuffed for him.

There were a lot of close rounds that they probably gave to Ramirez as a home fighter. Taylor also coasted too much in the last three rounds.

I guess so mate. Just thought that although he coasted he was in control and Ramirez was quite sluggish and sloppy in trying to come forward from the second knockdown. Ramirez was chasing shadows and fighting Taylor's fight those last 3 rounds.

You could give an argument for Ramirez sneaking a couple rounds in that final quarter of the fight that others wouldn’t have given him because he landed the most telling punches right at the end.

The scorecards were too close but I could see Ramirez plausibly getting a few rounds that most would have given to Taylor.

There were some close rounds After 4 i had it 2-2 but you cant give Ramierez anything in 4-8 not a chance he swept thw last 4 but i thought Taylor could have done more and maybe forced the stoppage.

Ramirez came out in round 8 and looked done but Taylor just let him back in.

It’s probably a testament to Ramirez’s power that’s Taylor played it safe in the end. He caught Taylor clean a few times late and they must have hurt otherwise Taylor would have been more aggressive looking for the finish.

Yeah 100%. I was worried for Taylor after the 4th to be honest. He definitely felt the power and slowed down but credit to him, he got back on and smashed him.

Forgot to add, I thought Kenny Bayless was terrible last night. The length of time he gave Ramirez to recover from that first knockdown was about 15-20 seconds. It looked blatant. He did similar for the second knockdown when there wouldn't have been any complaints for stopping it cos Ramirez was in narnia and there for for taking. However, he gave him that much time to recover that Taylor didn't have the time left in the round to stop him.

Thought he was dreadful in the Fury v Wilder 2 fight as well. He whinged at Taylor last night for the inside work and did the same with Fury that night.

Rewatched it whilst not half asleep.

Expected a close contest from the cards but Taylor was in cruise control for me.

    116-110.

Would love to see taylor in with tank davis next. Not too sure how many weights tank is below him maybe one or even as many as two but would still be a great fight imo. Usually i m a big believer in going up in weight around the 30 mark....but if taylor still makes the weight allright he,s earned the right to have guys come up to him as opposed to the other way round.

Take the cattarell fight next in edinburgh...then either tank or lopez after. Then go up after them two if all goes well.

Tank maybe a bit too small...but hes a little bit special when hes on his A game for me...and as his name suggests hes a tank. I reckon he could go up no probs. That would be a great win for taylor arguably his best one imo. Plus let them come up to him...hes earned the right. Still enough time to go up after them two.

Lets be honest going ups always difficult...going up to fight the top guys straight away also difficult. Theres enough good guys the weight below to bring them up atm.
