He's the favorite but it's the most worthwhile Top Rank guy for Crawford and could be the best win of his career all the circumstances considered.

No sure thing either, Bud isn't young anymore. He's due to lose a step soon enough and Taylor is hitting his peak years.

    Crawford would school him.

I think he should try to move up

I wouldn't count Taylor out. His ring IQ is very high and he is a great counter puncher.

But, no need to move up and fight Crawford to satisfy TRs lack of ability to make high profile fights for Bud. Taylor would need a fight or two at WW prior to fighting Crawford, to adjust to the added weight.

He should face his mandatory, smash Teofimo's face in and then move up. He needs a few fights at 147 before Crawford and the rest.

With some fights under his belt at 147, I fancy him to beat everyone in the division.

Conor Benn Vs Josh Taylor is a very interesting fight and does huge numbers over here in the UK. That's a good fight before facing the best at 147.

Dunno, a weight-drained Taylor UD'd Ramírez so who knows how strong he would be at WW? Anyway, it's almost like people are trying to quickly move on from last night or something...

It's up to Taylor ultimately but if he goes up to fight Crawford win or lose he will be stuck in the same predicament as Crawford not being able to get the big fights.why not stay at 140 and try build up a home support,I'm sure he could get big crowds behind him now.

One thing I will say - I don't think Taylor is an EASY night for anyone at 147, he has too many things he does well to be easy.

If Bud was to handle Taylor easily, and either stop him or have a dominant UD schooling, then it would satisfy all the doubts that I have about Crawford. His chin would get tested at some point, and Taylor is teak tough, so I feel like it's unlikely Bud is gonna blow him out quickly.

Ffs the guy has just unified his division....holds ALL 4 belts.....taken on 5 unbeaten fighters in his last 6 fights.....and has only had 18 bouts!!! Yet here we are in here shouting about how he should have done this, should have done that.....this guy will beat him....needs to move up.....im sure Josh has a good handle on where he wants to go with his career. Maybe a few in here might want to lace up their gloves as they are posting as if what he has achieved has been a walk in the park

Crawford schools him and sends him back to obscurity.

OP is simply trying to deflect from last night's win... you know, salty and that....

Yep. I came here to say just that. 22JM and a few others on here are very mad about last night's outcome. OPs agenda permiates virtually every single post he's made on here. Easily one of the worst posters on the site.

Funny you think Taylor could ever be 'obscure' when he's just joined the select band of fighters who have held all four belts simultaneously - ironically Crawford being another. Hopkins, Jermain Taylor and Usyk will never be obscure either...
