Wow it’s weird to see someone clean out a division brilliantly, one of only 6 boxers ever to win all 4 belts in their division. And immediately see plenty of people throwing shade and talking about how a bigger fighter would beat him. All a bunch of insecure haters

It's not even the 'beat him' that irks.

It's the "Easily" part that raises eyebrows for me, I can't image anyone from 147 down looking at all Taylor's attributes and thinking - 'hey this is gonna be a walk in the park' - maybe Bud is just that good that it's easy work, but if so why hasn't he swallowed his pride and made the fight with Spence? Beating Spence is the easy way to making himself top dog and solidying his resume, and really cementing his P4p status.

Crawford mutilates Taylor. I don't think Josh wants any part of Bud. He'll continue boiling down to 140 until Crawford leaves Top Rank or gets old.

You know someone is doing well when certain boxing fans find the negative in a fighter unifying the belts. Crawford would probably beat him, but lets just be happy that we have a guy that proved he is the best at 140, by beating the best guys

Yeh Taylor deserves all the plaudits and recognition. He should be allowed a couple of easy fights before moving up to 147, let the uk public know how great he is and build up a larger following before taking riskier fights. He certainly deserves a couple of easy paydays after the run of unbeaten fighters hes faced.

I beg to differ, I think that he has tons of charisma, He is a very likeable guy. He just need exposure to the mainstream in the US.

While I certainly favor Crawford over Taylor at 147lbs, I too take issue with the notion that he does so "easily."

Assuming Josh fills out nicely at the new weight, I find it hard to believe that anyone presently campaigning at welterweight has an "easy time" with a skilled, spiteful southpaw with quick hands, educated movement and the grit to bite down on his gum shield when the going gets rough.

Mikey isn't taking Taylor apart in any weight class.

    That's all I'm sayin'!!

Of course Crawford, Spence, Porter even Thurman probably would be favourites - they are proven at 147. But Taylor poses an difficult set of problems for anyone is all.

But then I guess it's the nature of folks to exaggerate - like the other thread saying Taylor would Take Lopez 'easily'? That's pretty harsh on Teo, who obviously gonna give Josh or anyone a hard nights work. Tank on the other hand...

I think alot of Crawford fans are over exaggerating because deep down they know that Taylors a massive challenge for Crawford and has the potential to beat him.

Think it will be a class fight up to round 4, then Crawford starts breaking him down to get the win.

Taylor would probably be a more difficult fight for Bud than anyone at 147 except for Spence. And since Spence will probably demand a 99/1 split to face Crawford if he beats Pac and Taylor doesn’t have any serious options left at 140, a Crawford/Taylor fight in 2022 makes a lot of sense for both sides.
