Mooted to be taking over the date of erstwhile "officially confirmed" but now dead in the water (after Wilder came along with his bird-dogging to jam up Fury through summer) unification - but planned to be not in Saudi Arabia like that delayed event, but at Wembley. At stake will be the WBA Super, IBF, WBO, and IBO (2nd defense of each by Joshua in his second reign w/ all four) heavyweight titles. Usyk is ranked #3 by the IBF and is Joshua's mandatory under the auspices of the WBO and WBA.

Usyk will probably out-box AJ unless he gets caught flush, he proved he could take heavyweight power v Chisora though so I lean towards Usyk, shame he couldn`t have the fought the winner of AJ v Fury instead though, as that fight would have had far more hype.

Heavyweight power isn't the only consideration, nor is this reducible to just boxing skill; there's no comparing Chisora's explosiveness or athleticism with Joshua's.

To some degree, but I think you`re overrating AJ a little, he`s not as good as some people think.

This works out perfectly for me. I want to see Usyk in with a top 3 HW before he is much older than 35.

I want to see Wilder get another ass kicking of a lifetime.

And I have a lot less desire for an all UK Heavyweight title fight with their insane nationalistic fans. And on top of that would have to hear that mentally ill jackass Tyson Fury blabber on and on about ridiculous bull**** before fighting Joshua only to have them both run away from each other in ring.

AJ is overrated, Usyk is underrated.

Usyk picks out 7 or 8 rounds. Split draw.

If the judging is fair and the rules well kept, I would say Usyk, although I am less sure about this than I was the Fury fight, and I was not sure about that.

Joshua is a gamer. I take nothing from him.

Sadly in eddie event even old post rehab and still ring rusty Beterbiev does have more chances to win A.J than Usyk.
    A.J needs to be stopped.

While Usyk is regarded as so impressive CW division cleaner, in reality he barely had dealt vs Briedis and most likely also vs Gassiev.
Better marketability and pillow fisted if compare with top LHW standard, sorry, Usyk is pillow fisted even for CW top and in no case he will be able to rull current CW division and all these talks.

If he will be able to stop A.J, then this will be next proof how cool division here is at HW. Surprise and upset with <0,1% probability.

Leaning towards Joshua by KO. Usyk is quite easy to hit early on and if he catches a straight right, he's going down. If he can weather the first couple of rounds his chances of winning will improve because he'll find his range and start landing consistently.

I dont think he's pillow fisted. His stoppage of Bellew was brutal. However he had to land a fair few clean shots first to wear Tony down first.

Its entirely possible he could do the same to Joshua who's punch resistance is so-so.

Even if you think that his levels above chisora. The chisora fight really is no indicator on how usyk could fare vs AJ.

he also did not had fought his mandatory in Briedis for example. I think for a reason.

Usyk is pillow fisted at least a bit and if he will stop A.J then glass chin totally confirmed : upset for decade.
