I highly doubt the matchroom judges will allow this... especially if its in the UK.... I also don't see Usyk KO'ing AJ.... is this a no-win fight for Usyk? I just don't know how he can defeat AJ

He can... But it's going to need to be clear, I think.

I don't think a blatant robbery ala Wilder-Fury I is too likely, but if it's at all close it'll be swung for AJ more likely than not.

In practice... If Usyk doesn't believe he can get a decision then he can't win at all - if he feels compelled to force the issue IMHO he gets stopped.

Unlikely as any thin margin is going to go Joshua to make the Fury fight happen.

Yes. Usyk can win on points if they fight in Kiev.

I don't think Usyk can cope with AJ's power.

He might be able to win on points if he knocks AJ down a few times but if Usyk does that, he's fighting for the KO anyway. Hearn isn't going to allow an Eastern European to win a decision in the UK, further reduce AJ's value and scupper the Fury-AJ undisputed fight down the road. A points win on the road isn't on the cards here so to speak and I'm sure Usyk and his team know this. So we have to assume that Usyk will go for the KO rather than dance around for 12 rounds and play for points. If he does go for the KO then he has a real chance as AJ doesn't have a good chin and he has awful stamina. If Usyk makes it a high-tempo fight, AJ will gas mid-late and give Usyk a chance to take him out. But it may be that AJ is too powerful for Usyk and in going for the KO, Usyk exposes himself to too much of AJ's arsenal. Given the context it's low risk, high reward. Usyk will also be heavier and stronger with more punch power and resistance in this fight at the cost of a certain amount of mobility.

Yeah and pro boxing business like fans sucks.
Doesn't matters, will Usyk KO AJ or AJ will KO Usyk, there a lot of ppl will find enough excuses and continue to **** on the same Usyk how bad and overrated he is.

There champs and " good boxers " should be from proper countries and Usyk isn't from proper country.

If bunches with these EE boxers had been from US or U.K, they had been praised till heaven by the same posters who now hates them damn a lot.

Not in the UK. The judging bias will be horrendous.

Joshua is more efficient and powerful than Chisora so Usyk will have big problems...

Well, cos he needed to work hard 9 rounds till he finished old Pulev, now for me does looks that he is less effective than 38 y.o Wlad's version + this had 33 y.o Pulev to fight with and with 5 rounds there was end of the fight.

Usyk will bring more problems than 39 y.o Pulev and 39 y.o Povetkin versions cos he is more difficult to hit than these versions.

When I saw the weight gain I wondered if we might see some wild plan for a KO like focused body punching followed by attacking AJ's temples.

I think it's more likely he does his usual style, but it would be interesting.

I never would've thought they'd give Fury a decision win over Wlad in Germany so I guess it's not out of the realms of possibility.

Wlad prom was different, actually no one ever had seriously accused anyone about cards vs Wlad.
With Wlad fights ofc had been stuff that ref allowed him to hold guys too long ( btw also Ali in 70 ies loved to do this vs weaker than he lads ) and maul them in clinches. Not that much dirtyboxe, excessive holding, yeah, happened in some fights a lot.

Not so much the holding stuff. I just thought as a long time reigning champ you'd have to literally yank the belts out of Wlads possession through knockdown and face rearranging punches instead of tip tap feint feint feint tap low output points victory. I guess Wlads low output didn't help his case.
