Yeah I am happy with it. I am a Fury fan and I thought he could do with a fight before AJ as he has been inactive. Also I really enjoyed Fury WIlder 2 and have watched it back several times. I enjoy seeing that big dosser get the living crap beaten out of him especially after the way he carried on after the fight.
It really does nothing at all for Fury's resume, and it does nothing to change the heavyweight landscape, but it's still a decent fight. 1. Wilder is probably top 3 at heavyweight still. Fury is probably #1. It's an elite level fight. 2. It's fun watching Wilder get beat up. 3. Wilder still has a serious puncher's chance in every fight. The more times Fury fights him, the more rounds Wilder is given, theoretically the closer he comes to landing theone-punch KO haymaker that we know he possesses. 4. I think there is genuine animosity between the two of them now.
Can't ever get tired of seeing Wilder getting battered. He's not all that bad mind. It's his toxic fanbase. Wilder and Mayweather fans are disgusting.
It's uninteresting in that we've seen Fury beat Wilder convincingly with two different styles already... It'll either be an easy nights work or an undeserved Wilder win in a fight that should never really have had to be made... But that's boxing politics sometimes
This could very well be wilder's last big payday, so it feels like it'll be do or die for him. For that reason, i'm excited.
If Wilder gets beat up and blasted out he's probably done at an elite level. If it is a competitive fight, even if he loses, Wilder will still have the name recognition to get at least decent level fights.
Not a bad fight at all but just disappointing when we've already waited so long for AJ/Fury, and unnecessary when Wilder was stopped in the 2nd fight and gifted a draw in the first. I actually have a feeling Wilder lands a Hail Mary in this one too, then what?...4th fight? its getting a bit much when theres fresh match ups for both out there.
It is not proven but we have to rank them somewhere. I'd put Fury at #1 and Joshua at #2. After that we have the others. Wilder, Ruiz, Usyk, Whyte, etc. None of whom are proven to be #3 but I'd put Wilder there personally.
Ouch, I'm not appreciating the implicit stereotyping being expressed here. Im neither toxic or disgusting....at least I don't think I am. I support Mayweather as a boxer, his skill set is undeniable. Wilder is chiefly motivated by his handicapped daughter and that's why I support him. Don't let fanbases control your admirations and/or disapprovals.
