With AJ vs Usyk likely happening next, what fight does Joe Joyce take? He's certainly not getting any younger and doesn't feel like he has a big enough UK profile yet to take an easy fight. If Usyk loses to AJ, does the Usyk fight still make sense after?
Yeah Joyce is very much in the who needs him camp. Dont think Whyte will fight him so it will have be a risky low reward fight with Hrgovic or somebody of thst ilk.
Would love to see him fight Bakole or Hrgovic, possible even Hunter. Would back him to beat all three as well. Neither of those options are likely to happen, expect him to take a decent but very winnable fight as he is in line for either AJ vs Usyk winner or a vacant belt by the end of the year.
Warren will stall his return as long as he can. Joyce is on decent money and Warren doesn’t want to pay him until he has to.
Joyce should be calling out Chisora and Whyte constantly on social media, those are big money PPV fights that Joe would win. Understand there's a hurdle with Eddie and Frank probably not willing to work together but with enough pressure from the fans and fighters who knows ??
The most logical and realistic opponent for Joyce next is Martin Bakole or Robert Helenius. He doesn't need to take any risks, since the WBO will likely become vacant in a years time, where he'll be fighting Parker for the Title.
