He’s rated as the #1 WW of his era and he has wins over some of the other top 5 guys to back it up. So he’s rated just about right. Now this era of WWs might be overrated but we’ll for sure find out after the Pacquiao fight.

I think he is well rated. Everyone still wants to see him fight Crawford before definitively labeling him king of welters. There aren’t too many thread about him being top of the p4p or comparisons with all time greats. I think Crawford was slightly overrated when he was considered number 1 p4p and ahead of Thurman and Spence when he hadn’t fought any of the top guys yet.

I underrate him currently, as I'm not sold that car accident not so long ago has no effect on him at some, as of yet, unseen level. A new crack that might only show under immense pressure?

    Pac fight will be telling.

He has a distinctive style (from Terry Norris I guess) that no one except Porter seemed to be prepared for.

He is big for the weight and fast for his size but no crazy reach and the power is not what it was hyped to be. I heard there was chaos with his SC coach that may have been resolved? If so and if that's not just a synonym for PEDs then maybe there is more potential to be unlocked.

I think in a stronger era he would be in the mix but not on top.

I like Spence. If he can beat Pacquiao then I expect him to fight Crawford next.

I thought Porter edged their fight, Brook was done for after GGG fight, M.Garcia and Peterson aren't WWs. So that only leaves his fight D.Garcia being the only fight with a prime WW that he has won.

I have to go with overrated at present.

Spence has power and made the mistake of not training with his strength and conditioning coach Blueray for 3 straight fights. Spence trained without Blueray with the Mikey, Porter and Danny fight. They supposed to have trained for the Danny fight together, but schedules conflicted. They didn't have no beef or chaos at all. Spence just got comfortable and felt he could do his own strength and condition. He realized his power wasn't the same as with Blueray. Spence is 11-0 with 11 straight KO's with Blueray. Blueray is a damn beast, and you will see the old shag Spence back against Pac. Mark my words.

underated. his accomplishments have him rated at the top, which is fair...but few really understand what he can do, and does, in the ring. so they cant appreciate how good he really is. i expect him to beat manny by at least 3 rds, and i expect him to stop crawford. thats how good i think he is.

The only thing overrated about Spence is his speed and power. Other than that he seems pretty well rated.

Well rated. If Pac beats him i hope nobody gonna say that Spence aint **** and lost to a 43 yo Pac after 2 year long pause. Pac is just a phenomenal fighter, I mean he beat in 2019 Thurman who was undefeated, at his peak, coming off wtih wins over Garcia and Porter.

I dunno why Pac took that fight, its very dangerous. Spence with his pressure gonna make old Pac work hard and I doubt Pac can stop him. Maybe Pac is a bit delusional with all his believing in god?

Pac is 2 years out of the ring and 42 years old if he pulls this off it'd be extremely impressive give Spence is in his prime and a huge welterweight.

I don't think Thurman was at his peak against Pac. Before fighting Pac he came off a long layoff to fight Josesito and didn't look impressive
