Martin will without doubt give Joe his hardest fight to date, unfortunatley they know this, so unlikely to happen.

Don’t see Joe taking on anyone risky. He becomes mandatory for the Joshua Usyk winner. He will have to wait until 2023 probably to fight him mind but no way Frank takes any risks.

 

Joyce is 36 in 4 months, are we saying that he might have to wait until he's nearly 38 to have a decent fight? He's going to have to stay busy inbetween if that's the case. If I was him and this was the case I'd go on a tour of beating up nearly men and has beens, sod it, it's not his fault it's those that run the sport and the greed of those at the top, in and out of the ring.

 

I'm not sure if people are taking the Michael when they're suggesting Bakole would beat Joyce.

Bakole got a gift decision against Kuzmin (!) and got sparked by Michael Hunter. The guy's not very good. Joyce would toy with him ffs.

 

Billy has to back his man but, let's face it, Joyce has proven himself to be a higher level operator who nullifies the threat of his opponents, that jab would have Bakole all over the place.

 

Joyce would deal with Bakole pretty easily imo. Joyce and Whyte would be a good fight, however Whyte doesn't need Joyce. He's earning fortunes from beating washed up, covid recovering, old men.

Bakole isn't very good and let's be honest, Bakole doesn't know his arse from his elbow.

Joyce is too good and too smart to lose to someone like Bakole.

I think Bakole is alright but just on the level of Joyce, he can have a half decent career but I don't think he'll ever be a threat when it comes to World titles.

 

Maybe not, but that's more to do with his age than anything else. There have been a lot of heavyweight champions who are a lot worse than Joe Joyce. Do you think Bakole is really 27? Many have speculated that he is closer to 40 than 27, and I wouldn't rush to disagree with them.

Bakole would be fiddled with like a toy. Joyce must privately laugh at the thought of Bakole being a threat. I think that's a match he would take in a heartbeat and he would thoroughly enjoy.

 

I think your being very harsh there and are wrong, Bakole is a good heavyweight who would give a lot of fighters a stern test and at his best he's more than capable of beating a lot of the fighters his name has been linked with over the past two years.

He's been unlucky in not getting fights, one reason for that is undoubtedly the fact that managers/coaches know he is a very hard nights work and more than capable of causing an upset whilst not having the biggest of profiles or being the most glamorous name in the division.

 

It is relative. Bakole is not completely hopeless. But at the highest level, where I think Joyce belongs (in the mix), Bakole would be a spare *****. He just got beat off Kuzmin, who is not very good himself, but got a favourable decision (let's say).

He really is a plodder whose feet are stuck in treakle. You'd think that he's never done any sort of plyometric training in his puff.
