Prime isn't everything. Povetkin past his prime just sparked out top 10 fighter Whyte and did it after he lost to Aj. As long as a fighter can still hang with top 10 fighters it doesn't matter whether a fighter in their prime or not resume wise.
AJ has beaten Whyte, Parker and Ruiz compared Ramriez and Prograis. However overall AJ beaten more top quality as well when you added Wlad, Povetkin and Pulev.
Right now, it's hard to argue against Taylor. All this inside 20 professional fights, incredible achievements.
There's no way you're putting Whyte on par with Prograis or Ramirez, thats ridiculous. And do Baranchyk & Postol not exist or something? Taylor is clear of AJ
Whyte probably has best resume in the division after AJ. The poster was referring to boxers in their prime, Postal is past his prime althought still a decent boxer. Baranchyk is decent boxer but doesn't really have a noteworthy win.
Whyte has the deeper resume of wins against quality opposition. Povetkin, Parker, Chisora x 2, Rivas and Helenius against Wlad, Chisora x2 and Wilder.
Still though Wlad was elite and Povetkin was ready to go due to coronavirus. Wlad was still able to operate at the world-elite level as shown when he pushed Aj to his limit 2 years after Fury beat him. Whyte may have a deeper resume but Fury's is still more impressive
Ohh, Taylor does have big potential. He should fight only in home country like Canelo and Ottke. He should learn how to cherry pick properly from Canelo and should have hometown fights like Canelo and Ottke. He might be more successful with home country beef meat and natural juice like Clenelo. Sadly does looks that such good exclusive natural horse meat and beef meat with such good natural juice he does not have. With good only natural healthy beef and natural horse meat on good only natural and healthy juice he might had performed better.
