Is Errol Spence overrated or underrated

He's more rated than I was willing to admit. For me, that's enough. I like when boxers prove me wrong. It happens a lot, I know. That's good, I like good fighters and spence is one of them, even if it took me a while to admit it. I was rating him pretty low, though (not any more).

 

I rated him very highly before his accident although he answered some questions against Danny Garcia he didn't answer them all. Where do I rate him? Borderline HOF level elite among today's boxers but not necessarily great at least not yet. But a current top 10 P4P fighter no doubt.

 

What question did Spence not answer in the Danny fight?

Punch volume? Check.
Accuracy? Check.
Stamina? Check.
Punch resistance? Check.
Aggression? Check.

No one's ever beat up and shut out Danny like that before. You might have a case if Spence was gun shy, looked lethargic, or was off balance throughout the fight.

None of that happened.

Zero excuses if Spence gets beat.

 

No Canelo not close, Crawford maybe.

 

I will not make any excuses. Danny looked like crap though he didn't look nearly as good as he did against Porter. He looked washed, Spence dominated but that was not close to the best version of Danny. I thought I would see a different Garcia but that didn't happen.
