Because he's obligated to. Given the choice he clearly would rather not.

 

Why if he doesnt what would happen? Like physically what would happen? If fury ****ed off to england and said im not fighting you and not paying you could anything actually be done across borders? It probably can i just havent got a clue!!

 

Yes, lots of people would be sued. Starting with Top Rank, Fury's American promoters.
No promoter or broadcaster or anyone involved in boxing would want to touch Fury, in case they get sued too.
People would be blacklisted, careers ruined, the whole lot.
Fury would probably end up broke and never fight again.

It's much better to just beat up Deontay Wilder again for a few mill.

 

Fury should have sued him for defamation. He wouldn’t have been requesting a rematch then.
