If AJ does vacate WBO belt vs USYK is that a duck?

AJ dumps the WBO belt is a massive duck?

  1. Hell no ! AJ is just frustrated because Fury fight fell through.

  2. AJ ass just prolapsed when he heard he's fighting USYK

This, but if he vacated his belt just to fight Fury who is better than Usyk then i wouldn't call it a duck anyway

Fury is fighting Wilder, WBO order fight with Usyk, why would AJ vacant that belt if he is not a coward ? He is waiting for fury and doing nothing ? Is that what champions do ?

If Aj truly wanted to make the fight with Fury and didn't want to take any risks in the meantime i wouldn't blame him. Im not going to call him scared because he'd be fighting the number 1 heavyweight. Regardless it's not going to happen and Aj will fight Usyk so calm your tits

Definately a duck. Usyk is a high risk opponent. Fighters can duck these types of opponents these days because fans are idiots. Hope it happens.

It's a lot of risk for very little reward (in Joshua terms). Very different to the older generation ducks mentioned here where the most money was on offer and it was THE matchup to be made in the division.

Fanboy **** ? You can call it ducking all you want but he'd just be on track to fight Fury who is the best fighter in the heavyweight division so i won't call Aj "scared" of Usyk. If anything you're just an illogical hater.

I call it how i see it. If Joshua vacated to fight Chisora or Hrgovic then yeah I'd say it's a duck but to fight Fury who is as far as we can tell, BETTER Than Usyk ? No. He wouldn't be scared of Usyk, that would mean he's mindful that Usyk is a risky fight and could derail the biggest fight of Aj's career

I mean, he can. Hypocrisy is a time-honored tradition and negotiating tactic for boxing promoters.

This. I don’t see Joshua vacating his WBO belt to avoid Usyk. But, if Joshua did decide to it would be a shameless duck.

Why ? Why do you have to take it so personal ? AJ don't even know that you exist, maybe you should not love one man like that, and just love boxing in general, that way you could think less emotional and more with the fairness.

Every boxer that is avoiding challenges is a coward, no matter who he is. If Usyk, Joyce, Hrgovic or any other fighter was in similar situation I would say the same.

Hearn and AJ won’t want the fight to go to purse bids. So, providing team Usyk don’t make crazy demands the fight will happen.

You called me a fanboy first, sounds like you're getting personal. Usyk doesn't care about you so why u so defensive ?

I don't see AJ ducking Usyk. He's been preparing to face him for a long time and quizzing former opponent's of Usyk's for tips on how to beat him or things they learned from sharing a ring with him. He's good pals or on good terms with numerous Usyk opponent. AJ's butthole is literally Bellew's second home, he goes back a long way with Chisora as they both came up in the same gym in Finchley and have sparred many rounds with each other, the last time being 11 months prior to Chisora fighting Usyk. And Joe Joyce is a former GB teammate of his. I'm sure he's quizzed some other Usyk opponents too.

I seem to recall post-fight v Pulev, Joshua was on the Mic saying he wanted to fight again ASAP. I think Hearn suggested 5 months, Joshua said he wanted one sooner.

I laughed at the time as Joshua has a track record of not fighting frequently (given he holds 3 belts).
