Ruddock in Tyson mode gets stopped. Ruddock in boxing mode wins a UD.

I think David Tua’s combination of power and durability is what wins the day. Great fight though

Ruddock would win if he even halfway tried to box.

Ruddock got picked apart by Tyson. Mike was still quick then. In Tua Donovan has a slower, more methodical opponent. Ruddock is gonna leave openings. At some point Tua will probably knock Razor down.

This is a slow sloppy fight, low punch output, Tua may win based on body punches. Hard to picture Ruddock winning a decision.

Didn't Ruddock fight a better version of Tua in Mike Tyson ? I think Rudduck wins a decision but has to pick himself up off the canvas a couple of times

He may have fought a better version of Tua in Tyson but he didn't beat a better version of Tua in Tyson. If he did, your post would have some merit.

He broke Tyson's ribs. I'm not sure Tua would keep trying to win with broken ribs. He had separated ribs for Lewis.

Well thats the thing. Tyson is a level or 2 above Tua and just a better version in every way besides chin and possibly power ? and Ruddock went hell and back with him in the rematch because the first fight was prematurely stopped.

Rudduck had answers when Tyson tried to swarm him, he timed Mike Tysons head movement with the smash punch several times and gave Tyson hell in the exchanges and this is a pre prison Tyson. Stylistically Tysons bobbing, weaving and swarming actually matched somewhat well for Ruddocks slugging but he was just too much for Ruddock in the end and the skill gap showed itself over the course of the fight. Now against a poor mans Mike Tyson ? I think Ruddock can take it

Yeah Tua could win but I'd favor a prime Ruddock though i wouldn't bet on it

That's interesting, since I've never heard this before.

I won't dig it up. He might have said it in his monologue. He claimed that Ruddock caught him with an uppercut to the chin and he broke his ribs as a result of being twisted around..

Between the two of these guys I will say .that I don't recall ever being bored by a Razor Ruddock fight. Tua seemed to kinda go through the motions somewhat after losing that slap fest w,ith Ike.
