I’ll buy it, not gonna lie. It will most likely be the end of Wilders career or a stunning upset. Either way, it’s going to be part of history in the heavyweight division.
**** yes mother ****er. I didn't want this fight but am going to warm to it. At least we get a big fight this summer.
Eh I'll buy it. Just to see Wilder get dismantled or the slim chance of an upset. I didn't want this fight but its happening
The first two I went to the movie theater and watched them and had a great time. Giant screen, great sound, popcorn, and a heck of a lot cheaper than ordering the PPV.
I do this for as many fights as possible. It is easily the best way to watch a card. I really hope this one goes it theatres, but with covid capacity restrictions and what not I doubt it.
I went to Buffalo Wild Wings for the last one. Had to wait about 30-45 minutes to get a table for our group and almost everyone was there to watch the fight. Great time. If this one is in the theater, I might try that. Or some upcoming fight that way. Reminds me of when I was young and I’d go with my father and maybe some other fans to the big closed circuit fights (drive an hour to the bigger city) like Duran-Leonard, Leonard-Hearns and all the Fab Four showdowns. My first night moved into a new city for my first job was the night of Leonard-Hagler. I saw an ad in the paper for the closed circuit at the auditorium downtown. So I went, didn’t know a soul. Got there and it was so packed I couldn’t find a seat, so I sat on the concrete in an aisle. Somebody saw me there and got my attention and waved me over because they had one empty seat next to their group. Half the people were cheering for Leonard, half for Hagler, all of us were fight fans. Everybody was into it. I miss those days. The convenience of watching from home (whether on TV PPV or now streaming) is nice, but it isn’t the same as being in an arena setting with a large group of people who are experiencing it with you.
Trust me, a lot of people saying they will not buy this fight will change their minds depending on the press conferences and the pre fight antics
