Haye almost dropped him using his athleticism. Mike Tyson knocks him out. His slow ass is not standing up to a Tyson barrage.

If Valuev wasn't a sloth, maybe. But he's so slow. Mike stops him.

Valuev had a decent heavy jab and titanium chin so I don't think he is an easy fight for Wilder.
Shpilka was taking Wilder's shots for 10 rounds without any issues untill he walked into a big punch.

Me, I'd drop him like a bad habit. I'm a bad man and I have a spiteful left hook.. as do my daughters, my son can really dig but it's the straight right that's his money punch, me and the girls are Frazier like with the left hand.

Anyway, Haye couldn't do it, but I would back myself to slump that hairy giant inside 3.

I don't totally disagree - Valuev would be a bit of a nightmare for Wilder too, but it's not inconceivable that Wilder would stop him.

I don't think Wilder wins that on average, but if anyone now would knock him out, that's where I'd look...

Dempsey (!), Louis, Marciano by Suzy Q in the 14th, Ali by TKO, Liston, Foreman, Bonecrusher Smith ( yeah you heard me right!), M. Tyson, Wilder, Joshua.

If old man Foreman hit Valuev with that shot that put down Moorer I think he could wobble Valuev.

No way could Valuev have taken the shot Whyte knocked Chisora out with, Haye hurt Valuev badly in tyheir match up.

Valuev usually is evalued from his fights vs Holy and Haye.
He always was not fat boxer, however in these fights he was over the hill, looks that with joints problems.

TO KO Valuev might be not likely for prime Wlad and prime peak Vitali ( even in best shape with 0 back and shoulder problems ) etc large boxers, not only these boxers mentioned here.

Valuev's frame was huge, hands very heavy, elbows large, it is not fun to land on such guard too.
About Valuev core some boxers told that felt like they had hit oak or wall barehands.

I think Valuev ofc might be defeatable via decision, the older he was, the more chances and maybe on cuts.
I for example had picked prime healthy Vitali, Wlad and also prime Tyson, Lewis vs Valuev most likely via UD if there no cuts.

Both limited technically with certain freakish attributes (sheer size and chin for Valuev, KO power for Wilder), but have been effective at the levels they've fought at in spite of it...

Valuev might've been a bit of a donkey, but his resume isn't as crap as Wilders.

Wilder has far more pwer and more one punckh KO`s, he is better in every departmant than the sluggish Valuev.

You've named one department. He's better in one department (power).

Here, I'll throw you a freebie - faster than Valuev, too. Jab, defense, chin, and IQ, however all go to the Russian.

Better than Valuev in so called every departament Wilder was when he was amateur boxer.
In pros he quickly turned into almost 1 handed boxer. Especially after first fight vs Stiverne.

So called every departament by resume is this one: Wilder had fought in US only as a pro.
Valuev had fought as a pro boxer in 12 countries. :D
Japan, South Korea, Australia, U.K, U.S, Germany, Switzerland, Czech Republic, then ofc in Russia, Belarus, Ukraine.

There is reason why Haye becomed well known after fight vs Valuev who then was for sure over the hill.
Valuev was far more well known in the world than ppl in US usually does think, he was traveling boxer, looks that cos his size tickets with him on card might had been sold well and for good prices.
