Fury is all over the place he is not focused as he was in the rematch

Wilder looms like he is mentally correct!

I would not agree with that, firstly one of Wilders bombs landing on any heavyweights mandible and they can be parted from their consciousness in double quick time, ok might be a lucky punch or as a briefest moment of leaving self unprotected by Fury but it could happen.
Secondly Fury has proven he can be cut, a cut in position that blood runs into eye messes up even the best fighters abilities and of course a medic could call fight off if cut serious enough.
Likewise a hand injury or such could befall Fury thus limiting his offensive ability.

If you label Fury as a bum if he loses to Wilder, then i would say you must feel he is a bum now, as all the above could happen to any fighter, without much blame on them, resulting in them losing

Wilder is at last chance saloon, everything to gain and nothing to lose, Fury however i feel is looking beyond Wilder, that not a good approach by Fury, it might be an error, but would not label him a bum just on back of it

I said this as soon as the arbitration ruling became public; Tyson Fury needs to drop the WBC immediately. The WBC belt is all that Al Haymon wants back so he can get his pawn in Deontay Wilder back into play. It's a chess move by Haymon. Instead - if the WBC are smart and still want their sanctioning fees from Fury then they (the WBC) need to create a "super champion" belt for Fury and have him put that on the line against Joshua. The public won't notice the difference but in a court of law it allows Fury to avoid the third Wilder fight and allows the bigger fight in Saudia Arabia to go ahead. This is the way to checkmate Al Haymon and Wilder can go back to fighting for the WBC belt against someone like Ruiz or finally Whyte and go back to making peanuts and giving 40% of his money to Al Haymon.

This is all about POWER MOVES and Al Haymon and Bob Arum have colluded together to wrestle back control from Eddie Hearn's momentum.

    Not true.

Wilder has a signed contract to fight Fury.

This contract isn't with the WBC, it is with Fury.

Giving Fury a flowery title doesn't break the contract.

These two individuals have a contract to fight next. And they are.

The WBC could name Whyte its full champ tomorrow. Whyte's name isn't on the contract Fury and Wilder signed.

It is still an agreement between Wilder and Fury.

Yes, Fury will have to pay significant damages to Wilder if he doesn't honour the contract

Would Wilder fight Fury if there was no WBC title on the line?

Is there the same money involved?

The WBC title is a bargaining chip for Al Haymon and gives him a purchasing power at the sharp end of the HW division.

Remove the WBC belt and even if Wilder beats Fury, he has just gained revenge. He hasnt suddenly become a mega million dollar fighter headlining PPVs the same way as Fury or Joshua would.....

I think not likely. Wilder already had milked this belt with a glance during long years.
He had one mistake: to fight vs supposedly over the hill, lazy, possibly obese and ring rusty Fury.
2 nd enough well known in europe / eurasia boxer he had in the ring.
Wilder had 2: Russo in ams and Fury in pros, both of them had beated him.

I've heard a lot of people say this but it seems Fury needs some kind of reason to be motivated like the first two Wilder fights he had something to prove. It's human nature for someone to become demotivated when they have reached the top. That's why I'm expecting a slightly lesser performance from Fury and a better performance from Wilder.

That being said, I just think Fury has Wilder's number regardless.

that is one of the things that determine, if one fighter is better than another. the lesser fighter needs more things to line up right, for him to be at his best. the superior, disciplined, professional fighter needs less from the world to be professional.

I think this idea of Wilder winning by a Fury mistake is quite possible. However, I'm not sure Fury's stock rose "massively" after the Deontay TKO. I mean, it was by far the most impressive thing Fury ever did, but Wilder isn't Holmes, Tyson, Lewis...I kind of doubt he's even a Ken Norton. No offense meant.

For today's bunch of heavies it was a very good win, of course.
