Little Loma jumped up & starched Jorge when he was still good, Haney drains down & blows him when he's crap

I found this to be an entertaining fight. Haney is good, very good but if you can weather the storm and take him into later rounds you've got a shot. I would love to see a Haney-Lopez fight. If Haney chooses to go toe to toe with Lopez it will be a fun fight to watch. Kudos to Linares, who is one tough cookie. But give credit where credit is due, Haney was impressive most of the fight. I do think the ref should have warned Haney for excessive holding in the last two rounds. Had he done this Linares may have stopped him.

I think Haney was quality for nearly 10 rounds but when got hit he didn't recover. Without the helpful ref he may not have made it. Kinda spoiled the win.

    Round 1 Haney 10-9
    Round 2 Haney 10-9
    Round 3 Haney 10-9
    Round 4 Linares 10-9 close
    Round 5 Haney 10-9
    Round 6 Haney 10-9
    Round 7 Haney 10-9
    Round 8 Haney 10-9
    Round 9 Haney 10-9 close
    Round 10 Linares 10-9 close
    Round 11 Linares 10-9
    Round 12 Linares 10-9

Jesus Christ, that holding in the 12th was disgraceful, the ref should have docked him a point for that. Haney was actually looking like a decent prospect a few years back, but he's taken several steps backward and has regressed big time since the Santiago fight. Had this been the Linares of the Crolla fight, he'd have stopped him. Fimo and Kingry decapitate him. Can you imagine him moving up 5 pounds and facing Matias? That's too horrific to even ponder.:lol:

    116-112 Haney

An argument could be made for giving Linares the 9th as well.

If there’s anything we learned tonight, Haneys chin and recovery are pretty low on the scale.

Haney doesn't make it out of this fight if teo catches him with what Linares caught him with.

I fairly surprised that Haney couldn't shake Linares, especially at this point is linares' career. I knew Haney wasn't a power puncher, but wow.

There's a large gap between Fimo and Ryan.

Garcia-Haney would be a competitive fight, and I'm not sure who wins.

Both of them are food for Lopez.

Garcia vs Haney is a ko waiting to happen. I favor RG after tonight. After RG was knocked down, he didn’t fold up, he came out gunning. Haneys performance after getting caught was disappointing. It’s one thing to do a veteran move like hold, but it’s quite another when it’s for two whole rounds and actually run in to grab.

Nah, Kingry is incredibly fast, and clearly has the better chin of the two. He'll aggressively walk him down and batter him to a midround stoppage like he did Campbell. Quite frankly, I'm not sure Campbell wouldn't give Haney fits.
