Some snippets: Scott claims that Wilder was somehow seriously debilitated going into the rematch and that he knocked out Fury in the first fight (who was apparently not debilitated from 2.5 years of inactivity, morbid obesity, drug addiction and suicidal depression) and doesn't acknowledge losing the second. Wilder says that Fury couldn't take him out even though he was in a terrible state going into the rematch and that positions reversed, Wilder would have done so (despite failing to in the first fight). Scott states that Wilder "has basically been injured his whole career" but is now healthy going into the trilogy fight and implies that Wilder, following Scott's "surgical" gameplan, will kill Fury, who is apparently not training seriously. Wilder says he has thought about disfiguring Fury "so that his mother wouldn't recognise him". It is apparently ordained by God that Wilder will win the third fight, despite God denying him the victory twice in a row and getting Wilder's arse handed to him in the last fight. Wilder talks about his existence as a black man and claims that he is the best heavyweight of all time in the making (with Scott comparing Wilder's victory in arbitration with Ali's struggle against the Vietnam draft). Scott and Wilder insinuate several times that Wilder is fighting against a racist white boxing establishment who were hell bent on bringing him down (who for some reason protected him for years and now recently allowed him to win the arbitration case). Wilder is still as delusional as ever (a very low-IQ megalomaniac) and Scott is encouraging him in this instead of giving him some hard truths but Wilder seems more subdued than usual (barring the scream of "BOMBZQUAAAAAAD!!!" at the end). Fury KO round 3.
Those guys have apparently watched a lot of boxing. They saw what that second fight looked like, they've seen guys act like this and talk like this after a loss before, they have to know how this movie ends right? It's fine to still be a fan after a loss, good actually since that supports competitive fights, but this isn't what bouncing back stronger looks like. This is what getting depressed and doing the same stuff that didn't work looks like.
I turned it off when he started talking about White privilege ... also I liked when he said "My team is always together no matter what" Jay Deas and Mark Brealand would disagree with that. Never wanted Wilder to get KO'd as much as after I watched this interview. Both of these 2 are frauds.. Wilder, and Malik, who took a dive when they fought each other...
Dear God, really they had compared Ali vs Wilder? Ali amateur resume alone is considerably better than all Wilder's resume ams + pro together. Ali 1 single fight vs Liston, Liston vs Ali 1 >>>>>>>>>>>>>> more notable than all Wilder's pro resume. Ali 1 single fight vs Patterson alone, Ali vs Patterson 1 >>>>>>>>>>>> more notable than all Wilder's pro resume. If we know that he had 2 fights with both of these, Patterson and Liston, this alone makes . Damn. Wilder was champ with belt 5 years? in row and fought not known outside of US opponents until he get Fury in the ring.
Wilder is pathetic, Aj got destroyed to a borderline Journeyman and took it far better. Wilder got destroyed by the best heavyweight of this era and is a sore looser TIL THIS DAY
It's dangerous to have so many Yes man on your side. And you know what ? Fury also have many many Yes man around him. This two is worth each other
Of course. One difference still already had been proven: Fury had proved that he might be willing to travel aboard and while being from U.K, had fights in US and Germany. Surprisingly Fury's resume too looks better despite he had long inactivity period.
Fury is not fighting well when he is favourite of the fight. I don't know why. His own father said that he has many yesman around. Wilders team is just too delusional, comparing him to "The Greats".
