I'll tell you who really lost, me, $100 PPV for that snoozefest. Actually I won money from my friends because they were all certain Pacquiao was going to KO Floyd. I think I made $400 so that more than covered the PPV cost, snacks and drinks.
116-112 Mayweather. I don’t remember the exact rounds, but think I a had them about even at the midway point, with Mayweather heavily taking over in the second half of the fight.
"Many have protested the decision, including Manny Pacquiao himself. However, a look at the official punching stats lays all doubts to rest. Floyd Mayweather threw 435 punches to Manny Pacquiao's 429. 'Money' landed 148 of those at 34% accuracy, while 'Pac-Man' landed 81 at 19% accuracy". How can anyone say Pacman won let alone a draw ?
Pacquaio fans are genuinely haunted by Mayweather and I absolutely love it They will never get over it, never, it's just too much for them. 2021 and they are still in the middle of mental health episodes over the fight, IT IS GLORIOUS
What about the judge that gave Mayweather 10 rounds? Fun fact - All 3 judges had identical scorecards aside from rounds 9 and 10. Moretti gave those to Floyd, the other judges gave those to Pacquiao. All 3 judges agreed that Pac only won 2 rounds, round 4 and round 6.
In an interview after the fight with one of the judges that scored 116-112, he said he felt relieved on such a big stage that there were 10 clear rounds. The two he named that were close were two of the four rounds he scored for Pacquiao. That interview might be banned here, be careful.
117-111 Mayweather I scored it IIRC. It's not a fight I've had any great desire to go back and rescore either.
Wow that's newsworthy, why has this not been talked about? So Pac really lost 10 rounds to 2 but two judges gave Pac rounds 9 and 10 to make it look closer than it was? That sounds like CORRUPTION!
