Possibly becoming the first ever undisputed champion at SMW isn't worthy of ATG status?

You're the exact kind of idiot (sorry to say!) these promoters / fighters rely on for the fanbase. We just going to ignore the context of becoming undisputed. Ok

@Quina74 P4P ranking is about skills and in-ring performances. If we're going to evaluate one's entire career and body of work and go back 7 or 8 years, that's what an ATG comparison is about. This topic is about P4P, so all the BS you posted in post #15 has no bearing on who's better P4P. Who's better P4P is about who is a better fighter currently. Who has better attributes, who has produced better performances, etc.

A H2H P4P comparison is not about trying to evaluate how good the fighters he fought are like you're trying to do, it's just about looking at how each fighter performed against the opponents that he fought recently, as a means to gauge how capable he is as a fighter. Obviously the harder the opposition the more difficult it is to win and look good while doing it, but you don't need to be fighting top competition to be higher P4P. RJJ was P4P #1 for years and he wasn't fighting the absolute best possible fighters he could possibly fight now was he?

A comparison between Canelo and Inoue is rather easy, Inoue isn't as well rounded or as seasoned as Canelo. Canelo's ring generalship, body punching prowess, defense, upper body movement, counter punching ability, etc is far more advanced and superior than Inoue. Inoue is a very dangerous fighter with fast hands, but he's nowhere near at the level Canelo is as an all around fighter. Even a dedicated hater like you should be able to see that clearly.

Lol what? Recent performances and level of opposition are 100% taken into account in p4p rankings. And also a fighter may be able to show impressive skills against lower level opposition and not be able to against higher level opposition so whatever you've tried to demonstrate as qualifying for pound for pound is flawed.

And wow just wow.. Canelo is not far superior or advanced than Inoue lmao. Have you even watched Inoue? His footwork, hand speed and defence are absolutely elite p4p. Far better than Canelos flat footed over exaggerated upper body movement and highly overrated counter punching ability. Not to mention Inoue has been fighting at and above his weight class.

They are #1 and #2, in my opinion. Definitively so, too.

Loma won rounds 2, 6, (arguably 7) 8, 9, 10, 11..ive debated rounds 2 and 6 with mongs on this forum who seem to think walking towards someone > clean landed punches.. Which is what Loma did rounds 2 and 6

Go on what ws your scorecard then clever cloggs?

You're a Loma / EE fanboy. You couldn't score a fight involving an EE to save your life lmao. You don't even hide it. Bro no one in their right mind thought Loma Lopez was a draw. Lopez won almost every round. Loma did practically nothing, didn't even try to win a round until late in the fight.

Canelo has had far more time and fights to prove himself.

My fear with Inoue is that between 118-122 theres arent a lot of fighters for him to fight with TR.

All the top guys at 118-122 are with PBC, with MJ with Matchroom.

Unless some cross promotion can take place, he might get stuck fighting B level guys

"Lopez won almost every round" I'm quoting you here.. And no I'm not a fan of EE or Loma fighters.. I'm a fan of actual skilled boxers and not undeserving hypejobs/frauds like your man Canelo.

Loma's volume for the first 6 was unusually low yes.. But everyone seems to forget Lopez also did f all, yeah he may have been coming forward being the aggressor but he hardly landed anything, a lot being caught on the elbows gloves shoulder etc. I don't blame some who score certain rounds to Lopez as Bradley was ejaculating every time Lopez supposedly land but didn't land anything.

You also mention no one scored it a draw for Loma. Yeah apart from just from memory : Andre Ward, Marquez had it 8-4 Loma, Crawford had it a draw.

And let's not talk about scoring fights Shadow as you have already shown before that you have absolute minimal awareness or understanding as to what clean punching is lmao you clearly don't know what you're talking about as you have demonstrated time and time again.. Go on work your delusional spin

    Canelo, more active, better resume!

Inoue is a class fighter aswell though....

I hate how people have to put other fighters down to bring their favorite up.

If inoue fought 2-3 times in a year and unified/ went Undisputed, his argument for #1 would be easier to make.

I'll even quote a past comment from yourself that I happened to come across.. Think you're just trying to have a go because I spanked you previously

"no one in their right mind thought Loma Lopez was a draw"

So let's not act like a draw is totally out of question. Again I had round 2 and 6 for Loma purely on the more cleaner purposeful punches landed. Rounds 3 and 4 are very close as well.

    I've scored it differently various times but my last occasion I scored it 2, 6, (7), 8, 9, 10, 11

You really have to look for reasons to give Loma rounds to have it draw or anything close. If you score it straight up it was a pretty clear Lopez won. One thing about this match is how Loma went into the fight with an injury and had an unusually low output in the early rounds. He just didn't have the look of a fighter who was at his best, if we're honest he really shouldn't have been fighting with that kind of an injury. He wasn't throwing enough punches and it was abundantly clear that something was very wrong with Loma that night. When you're injured and you come out the gate and don't throw punches, you set the tone that you're not doing what is needed to give yourself a chance to win, and you really lose any benefit of the doubt when it comes to scoring.

There's a difference between starting slow as a strategy and working your way into a fight vs just not throwing at all like Loma was doing and giving off body language like you're in pain and afraid to throw. When it's clear to the viewer that something was physically wrong and Loma wasn't throwing because he was in pain or didn't want to risk throwing and aggravating the injury, when you see that kind of body language from a fighter, and you're in there with a young hungry lion who is putting it on him, it's very hard to win over the judges or the viewing audience.

This was a situation where Loma was very high in the P4P Rankings when this happened and a lot of his fans were immediately playing damage control as to what happened and trying to act like it was closer than it was, when in reality he got beat up and shouldn't have been fighting with that kind of an injury and his unusually low punch output made it very difficult to argue he came anywhere close to winning. If you play mental gymnastics and try to find 6 rounds where he landed some decent shots you can probably convince yourself that a draw is reasonable, but anyone who just scores it straight up it's hard to come away from that fight with anything other than a Lopez win.

I disagree in respect of rounds 2 and 6. I get wanting to score it for the aggressor because it is ****ing annoying when fighters pansy around trying to look to outpoint.. But in these rounds Loma did that and I can't just ignore the work, Lopez was certainly the aggressor but Loma was landing the cleaner punches for me.. But i can agree that he out pointed Lopez by a small volume of punches, but it was enough for me and scoring Rd 2 and 6 for Loma is far from a reach
