Speaking of which, in anticipation of Mayweather vs Paul, Showtime has re-released the Mayweather Canelo telecast on its youtube channel. Not just Mayweather highlights, but the full fight so you can now watch the whole match and understand what happened, instead of just being spoon fed the pro-Mayweather highlights, now you can see the whole fight unfold as it did. The full fight was originally uploaded to its youtube by Showtime in 2014, but then at some point I think in 2015 it was mysteriously deleted or made private by Showtime I think around the time Mayweather retired. So for the last 6 or so years this full telecast was not viewable. And it seems that about a week ago it was made available again, surely this is an attempt by Showtime to generate more interest for Mayweather vs Paul, but now the greater public can finally view this match in its entirety, at least for the time being, after being fed lies for years about how it was a Mayweather domination.

They've been hiding this footage for the last 6 years so that what happened and how well Canelo did could not be absorbed by the public, which is why so many people were under the belief it was a Mayweather domination. But now you can re-live history, the legendary night that a boxing legend was born, the night that Canelo did the impossible and scored a draw on CJ Ross's card which sent shockwaves through the boxing world and caused Mayweather's eyes to fill with tears when the decision was announced.

Now you can witness for yourself the poise Canelo showed in the early rounds, the back and forth hard to score rounds, you can witness the record number of feints on Floyd, and late in the fight you can watch Canelo teach Floyd how to fight on the ropes.

But be warned, the Showtime commentary is very biased in favor of Floyd. When Canelo lands some of his best shots, notice how the commentators are always talking about something else like what happened in the previous round or are focused on a single shot that Floyd lands instead of talking about the bigger more effective shots that Canelo lands. Watch it while you can and have your mind blown!

What kind of nonsense is this. Easy-to-score Mayweather victory.

Hidden by Showtime??? If you have a subscription you can watch the fight, and it’s always been there too, using the on demand feature

Read all the comments below the video, numerous comments about how it suddenly re-appeared for them in the last week. Notice all the comments are either 6 years ago or in the last week.

Nope, smarty pants. Didn't have it a draw. Had it for Floyd by a narrow margin. But what a performance by Alvarez. He really took it to Floyd and busted him up. He was the first fighter to really give Floyd a scare like that.

Canelo fought like a prospect who was out of his depth and became discouraged. He was still a little green then.

a draw is better than the 10 or 11 rounds the other judges gave floyd. If you actually understand boxing you would know the fight was razor close and a competitive chess match. I have no problem with floyd winning narrowly but those wide cards were a joke.

Yeah, Floyd's face looks real busted up in the video. 9-3 Floyd. Canelo had some moments, but not enough for a draw, let alone a Canelo win.

Not enough for a win or a draw, but enough to show he could perform at the highest level and take Floyd into deep waters. He gave Floyd a stiff test and a real scare.

Yup, and going through the comments under that video, you see a lot of youtubers coming to this realization after watching it again and being surprised at how much closer it was than they remembered.
