I dispute the no heart claim.

He was a very limited fighter in many ways but always up for a fight and always showed heart.

 

He quit from a punch to the LEG in the Crawford fight. When he was wearing a protector. and He had 5 minutes to recover and he didn't take it. It was a cowards way out, he quit before the fight even got that tough. One of the most shameful quits I've ever seen in the ring.

 

Fair enough on that one but you ignore the countless other times he's showed heart.

I'm not going to and fro on this as don't have the energy to defend khan, I don't really like or rate him but heart is one thing he has shown

boxing is a sport with 17 weight classes and 4 world champions per weight, ie- about 70 world champions per weight, and weak champs and weak divisions,voluntatry undeserved shots, corruption. Merely being a 'world champion' isn't no big thing in this sport like it is in other sports. As you can tell when an absolute bum celebrity multi flawed joke like Khan manufactured himself a world title.

Most of the 'world champions' Khan beat were either completely past it (Barrera, Judah), or were of the feather fisted average mediocre weak champion type (alexander, Malignaggi, etc)

That division he was in at the time had the most weak champions Ive ever seen of a division. The WBA belt .... ****ing passing around a belt between bums... Souleymayne Mbaye to Gavin Rees to Andreas Kotelnik to Amir Khan ... must be the 4 weakest world champs in a row for a belt ever!.

To be fair to Khan, he’s not lived a dull life and has given people a lot to talk about even though most of it is not good things.
