Manny Pacquiao Has A Very Good Chance of Beating Errol Spence...

I lean to the first possibility. I think that Pacquiao's experience in the big fights like this one will help him to make it more competitive than most people think.

 

Remember what happened to Mosely? That's what this fight will end up, Spence's droopy eyes will completely shut

 

Well....I'm not sure about that. Both World Champions have a chance to beat each other.

 

Surely fighting another southpaw means that Pacquiao's much more likely to dissuade Spence from throwing the jab? Unless he's completely fell off in all areas (a very real possibility, TBF), then he'll still be quicker, and Spence's (right-handed) jab will be in line for the conventional cross-counter - a punch Manny mastered about twenty years ago. I wouldn't be surprised if it's too heavy for Manny to risk, but I think Pac's cross ends up making Spence partially neglecting the jab. Especially if it's used to just occupy the space and appear busy. Who wants to open up to Pacquiao's left?

Spence's bodywork and sheer physicality is what Pac's gonna lose to. Spence's inside game is better than Manny's ever was, and once he's in, that monstrous size advantage is going to be telling. That's what will be the source of Pac's issues, because he doesn't have the athleticism to constantly move away any more. Pac will be broken down IMO, because nowadays, he's there to be hit. His chin is excellent, but that may end up a negative in the end.

 

I don’t know why so many people obsess over age. Yea Pac is old but he’s still one of the top guys at 147. So if Spence wins I’ll give him credit. I’m not going to be in here rolling out the age excuse. Same goes for if Pac wins. People are going to be rolling out the car crash excuse you just know it. Just give either guy the credit if they win.

 

They’re both southpaw, so it’s 2 orthodox facing each other.

 

Pac will counter the southpaw jab with his overhand left.

I think Pac controls the range in this fight. Spence’s best bet is to fight on the outside, I think he loses mid-range and probably close-range too due to Pacs shorter arms. Spence generally fights mid-range and throws in volume.

I also think that pacs jab will counter Spence’s jab down the middle, Pac will slip to the left outside of Spence’s right jab and land his own down the middle, this will be followed by an overhand then right hook and roll outside.

Pacs overhand left and right hook will do the damage.

Pacs biggest concern is Spence’s bodyshots. I think he may stop or seriously wear Pac out with those body shots.

 

If Pacquiao couldn't beat Horn there is no way in hell he beats Spence

 

Horn has the official win tho.... Crawford made easy work of Horn

 

99% of the planet saw Floyd school Pac and that hasn't deterred you one bit. lol
