I would like to see him fight Benavidez. To me that would be a bigger challenge than some of his recent. Benavidez is young, fast combinations with some power. Would be interesting. Much better than Smith. But I doubt that would happen soon. Plant is probably next. Which might be interesting also. Plant doesn't have enough power to get respect though. Canelo is talented for sure but I do think he is getting away with ped's.
He comes to fight b He doesn't come to fight a fair fight like a true champ and alleged Mexican warrior would do!
Well most of the top guys are juicing and you can’t prove that he’s loading up his gloves. I can’t argue with the other stuff though, but boxing is probably the most corrupt sport on the planet. I really wouldn’t expect the top dog in it to not use his advantages
I agree that it's annoying, but he puts on good fights, though. After seeing Crawford dig up Brook and GGG face who the hell it was he faced as their only fights this year, Smith feelt good, even with a short camp. But definitely wish he wouldn't play that A-side thing as he does. Cheapens things.
Something I wonder is why Canelo's failed test gets so incredible much more talk here than Fury's quite identical one, which hardly gets any attention at all. So, all of you who hates Canelo for that failed test must hate Fury for the same reason, right?
To be fair I don’t think Smith would have been able to do much anyway regardless if he had a 10 week camp rather than a 5 week. There’s levels to this. I’ve never seen any evidence that Canelo loads his gloves.
LOL Really? I've gotten into some heated arguments on here. Provided facts in opposition of theirs and they still want to argue on the same points. I think some people know what they're in for and would rather move on than try changing someone's mind. You can't say any negative things about some fighters without fanboys coming out of the woodwork with hate filled comments instead of facts to support their opinions. I miss the Good old days. My first time on this site was the Monday after the Hatton/Tszyu fight, over 15 years ago. I entered a conversation about Hatton/Mayweather. I picked Floyd because of the movement and speed. I was promptly called a nutthugger. I asked what does Hatton bring to the table. Of course, I was told the relentless attack and how was Mayweather going to stop it. I simply replied the check hook. We went on dissecting different senerios and how they might play out. And for a long time, that's how it was. You were able to have a conversation, present your argument and defend your position without being insulted or called a biased racist.
hes the #1 PPV star in boxing so of course the sport has his back, turns a blind eye to PED tests and makes sure the deck is stacked in his favor. If he loses, boxing $$$$$ loses.
Im the opposite. Used to not care for him and thought hed be exposed when he left 54. Turns out he kept grinding, and grinding, committed himself to boxing completely and has grown into a genuinely excellent fighter. I enjoy watching his style now as well, as hes improved. Ive become a fan.
